They topic says pregnancy before marriage is a sin.According to some analogy on religion bases that if someone peradventure becomes pregnant then such person has committed a sin relating to the doctrines of the religion believes. But at the same it is is ironically that the so call pregnancy is later tag has a blessing again after the baby is born....

none or the other , tradition and morals states if it happens the man's father takes responsibility which is comuned to marriage and payment of the girls dowry. this restores respect to the said family

Lol fornication can lead to pregnancy which is also a sin, we also have a name for a child born out of wedlock, BASTARD, although not really said these days, the stigma of being a baby mama and papa remains.

The act of the fornication was the sin.
The pregnancy is the effects/consequences, except the person will have to live with the shame of bearing a child out of wedlock.
It's just like stealing food and eating automatically becomes a sin.
