In 2016 edition Tekno rejected the nomination. Just like Zlatan, he felt he had hits and was way above Aramide, Ycee, Mr Eazi and Humblesmith.

Dearest Zlatan, it is not to by carrying coloured hair upandan like Hades. Ask your management for orientation on how these nominations are done. Not like you deserve it sef.

Anyway, if you have been singing for 2yrs, with 10 hits, badass videos, 3M Instagram followers and NO OFFICIAL ALBUM- you very much fit into the Next Rated Category. However, if you have an album (in the year under review) as a new artiste, you are ineligible for this award and can try the HIPHOP REVELATION CATEGORY.


As it is now, those two upcoming artiste- Mr P and Rudeboy can be NextRated
