Pride before a fall.
I will advice BUA to desists from engaging in a media tussle with NPA, the regulatory body. Even if you win the present media war you are still bound to work under NPA regulatory framework. NPA is your landlord. Atiku INTELS failed to realised/was ignorant of this fact when it adopted a belligerent approach with NPA when it clearly was at fault. Today Intels has been kicked out from the Southern ports for good. Heaven didnt fall.

Why did you fail to mention Tinubu also

One of the common signs you get from Banana Republic.

Such decisions will be made without a prick of one's conscience on its effect to the business owner, the country's macro economic indicators, the vendors (direct & indirect), the workers and her dependants.

They are very confident, our cries are useless as the last drop of sperm is to pregnancy.

Abeg leave Alhaji Mai Sugar alone o.
That man has done more for Nigeria and Nigerians than all leaders of Nigeria combined since 1914.

Is it as the largest employer of labor in Nigeria?
Is it his high wage packages for his workers?
Is it his detribalized nature that has seen him invest in the West , South South and East more than his own region?
Is it the good name he has given Nigerian as one of the only good things people can mention about Nigeria?
Is it his refusal to join dirty politics?

Abeg leave Aliko alone. Abeggi.
What investments does he have in SE?

exactly, the fg wants to monopolise virtually all sector to dangote. The same way the edo state government and the federal are intimidating BUA at okpella limestone mining site. It is glaring that dangote knows how to pay his way through any corrupt government.

BUA should invite an international seaport body, neutral to the FG and themselves, for evaluation.

We can continue from the outcome.

This is how organizations in America, Europe, Far East Asia, Australia operate.

NPA cannot say no when an international body accreditation outcome say YES!
And they should not publish the international organization when the plan and coming is ongoing so that the government will not bloke them from coming.

[quote author=aminulive post=82787153]Under the Port Reform Programme of 2005 where the Federal Government of Nigeria leased 25 terminals to different port terminal operators, The principle of the agreements reached with the firms is that they would operate the facilities, while the NPA will be responsible for repairs and infrastructural upgrades.

That's what you need to understand...[/quoe]

Sounds plausible because a tenant ordinarily will not carry out maintenance work on the property he leases thoughtless of upgrades for several obvious reasons.

If this was the agreement at lease can we be witnessing another contractual breach and possible litigation by agents of goverment.....

So can you see that your goverment cannot just sustain industrialisation. It cannot work with the productive sector to work around challenges to ensure products are made and jobs are kept at all costs. Shame.

Tomorrow it will be complaining about insufficient tax returns while it is unwilling to ensure its economic engine is well oiled and working smoothly.

if dangote company is operating in western world by now dangote will be serving life imprisonment for using goverment might to oppress other competitors, then if dangote is paying to those families his trucks kill their love one's by now he will declare him self bankrupt ,but na naija we dey

You dont go to jail in Western countries for manipulating your businesses to suppress others. If the government feels you are doing that, they either fine you with a fine so heavy, it reduces your networth or they charge you with antitrust and break up your business like they did to Bill Gates and trying to do to Amazon.

As to his trucks killing people, those are issues of civil litigation amd compensation where victims are compensated through insurance. But Nigerian motorists are generally lawless drivers.
And if the Inspectorate division was doing its jobs, many truck drivers would have had their licenses cancelled before they killed people and Dangote trucking heavily sanctioned for hiring or retaining poorly trained drivers

Well, for an international body to come in, FG need to be informed.
FG can't stop either IMO or IAPH from visiting as the aftermath would affect our maritime relationship internationally, which will impact on our economy negatively.

funny comment. People are discussing the poor decision by NPA, you are talking about Skyline.

If PH isn't such a notoriously disorganised place, that BUA company ought to be in Tran-Amadi or Onne. People just erect structures anywhere and everywhere.

That is why when people say Dangote is a big business man, I look at them with disdain.

Check online for the price of one tonne of cement, it about 50usd and if you are buying more than 1ton the price will be reduced further. Most of these cements are even better then Dangote's product.

So imagine now, you can get 20bags of cement with #18,400 from importation abroad, Now that is #930 per 50kg bag. After banging lowering your cost you can get down to market price at #1300 per bag.

So imagine now you have cement at that price and you have #2million in my bank account, that means you will be able to complete a standard duplex, or something closer.

So you see, the real business man is not dangote, the government has allowed only Dangote to take over.

I really love BUA doing his business with wisdom. his cement plant in edo state are still functioning well. dangote doesn't want competition in Nigeria business that is why is making sure business of competitors are destroyed in order for him to rise high. he will surely fail at the end.
