Ignorance is a terrible disease...

How do you expect citizens of a xenophobic nation to take you serious when you openly show hostility to your visiting president??!

It is morally wrong and bad, did they even obtain a police permit to protest there is the first question?
Nigerians have been accused of constituting nuisance in SA, xenophobic attacks and deaths have been recorded, Buhari is in SA to talk on their behalf and what must be done to prevent any future occurrence, some IPOBians still went protesting against him thereby cementing it in the hearts of South Africans that Nigerians are a violent people and they go about constituting nuisance everywhere they go.
So you can see this is the "wrongest" time for such protest, this should have been saved for next time especially not after a recent attack on Nigerians

UNION BUILDINGS = ASO ROCK.

THEY WENT INSIDE THE UNION BUILDINGS TO PROTEST.

AM SO DISAPPOINTED. SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE SHOULD HAVE USED LIVE BULLETS.

WHAT A MASSIVE SCALE DISRESPECT TO GO PROTEST AT THE UNION BUILDINGS.

EVEN SOUTH AFRICANS THEMSELVES NEVER GO PROTEST AT THE UNION BUILDINGS.
This goes to show South Africans that Nigerians are lawless and more reason why they must go on in their attacks on Nigerians.

I wonder why the South African police saw any need to tear gas the IPOB protesters? They were not being violent in anyway

Well at least the South African police were far more civilised than the Nigerian police and used rubber bullets/ tear gas. No life lost.

The IPOB should not have embarrassed themselves with this demonstration at this period of reconciliation between Nigeria and SA. Secondly, it was very wrong for IPOB members to be telling SA people PMB had died in 2017 and the man in SA is another person. The SA police & intelligence network know Nigerian major tribes. They don't know what to do with a particular tribe.

The Immigration Office in Nigeria should be very vigilant about Passport issuance to people using another tribe identity to obtain passport to travel abroad.

This one occurred at the wrong time and place, just after a xenophobic attack in same SA and IPOBians are already displaying one of the reasons South Africans hate Nigerians and want them to leave.

No it your leaders that lacks critical reasoning
What is Buhari doing in South Africa for a whole three days
Is it not suppose to be other way round
Is it not the SA president that suppose to visit Nigeria and plead on behalf of his country.
Now Nigeria has given SA the chance to threat them with impunity after they will be claiming giant of Africa my foot.
Ignorance and anger is the only thing that fuels IPOB, and that is the major obstacle in the actualization of Biafra and you guys keep proving it right, because it also reflects in your comment up there.

You all see what we're talking about now; chasing rats while the house burns! Here's a president who is visiting to ensure your lives are secured including properties, who ensured Air Peace was given unprecedented waivers so that those who intend to come back home will be able to do so, who also ensured that his government will make available loans through the bank of industry and other incentives and support for the SA returnees, who brought together a high powered delegation to engage its SA counterpart on topical issues of interests; xenophobia crisis topping the list of that discussion. But here we are, chasing rats while we're supposed to be engaging him in meaningful discuss to better the lot of Nigerians in that country. Tomorrow they'll start alleging that their govt isn't responsive...well, we'll remind them of this incident!!

They should have even kill one to make a skape goat. Do you expect the police to wait until they attempt what they did fmto their uncle Ekweremadu. Afterall the president is not there to eat yam but for their safety.

Have these guys any sense? Calling your President an imposter who has gone to intervene the xenephobic attacks against you which some of you caused through drug deals. Clearly, majority of these Igbos are illiterate thugs.
