op there are no different and also know when Jesus was the earth He was operating like a man though He was God and after His restoration (fulfilling God's purpose on earth) all power was given to Him ( His Name was exalted) |

Jodera:Yeah but it's only a farce. Look critically at OPs post you'll see its really trying to replace some of Jesus' teachings with a more "progressed" teaching of Paul. Again and again it makes comparisons towards this. That's what I'm very much opposed to. A lot of people think Paul brought more light to what Jesus brought and as such we should move on to that not realising Paul's letters' scope was limited to gentile churches while Jesus's went as far as the end of the age and were from a higher perspective. And such people will often promote Paul's teaching and try to look for how to make Jesus' agree with it(in their attempt to not discard Jesus'). But It's a world apart from taking Jesus' teaching literally and getting to see Paul's agree with it (which we should tend to). That's why I suggested the safe approach in my post. Again I stress that we are not progressing from Jesus' teaching to Paul's (just because the gospels come before the epistles) but from Paul's to Jesus' because Jesus spoke from the higher perspective. So u see that the post and I only seem to agree but are still worlds apart. It is VERY dangerous for our spiritual lives to remove Jesus' teaching from being our foundation or to at any point progress from it to any other's, we should only look to see them in the teachings of others. Believe me, this makes a great difference in our lives. |

AND @OP stop manipulating scriptures, John 14:26 means only remembrance(not understanding) and I checked that with several Greek lexicons, so please always be humble and reverent enough to not adjust scriptures to match your theories no matter how true they seem to be to you. |

There is a difference between both, but it doesn't mean one is against the other. The gospel as preached by Jesus of Nazareth was a work God would do; but the gospel was preached by Paul as a work God had done. See? The gospel did not start from Matthew, because in fact, the days of Jesus of Nazareth was the days when the law was still in operation. The gospel of Jesus Christ came into effect in the Acts of the Apostles. |

Canal minds. Always trying to analyse the work of God with the ordinary mind. The word of God is not in the prints. The prints is an ordinary paper (apology to the ones who still sleep with their bible under their pillows). The actual word of God is in the Rhema, the Revelation you caught while studying the word by the help of the spirit of God. So you can keep at analyzing, so long it makes you feel better about yourself. But know that, until you start studying the word properly, you case will continue to be that of 'THE MORE YOU SEE, THE LESS YOU UNDERSTAND'. |

You are quoting the Bible out of context. If you follow Paul teachings he acknowledged Jesus as the messiah he even forbid the worship of angels. He never in any of his teachings contradict Christ. Infact Jesus teachings were bases of Paul teachings |

Of course there are slight differences between the teachings of Jesus and that of Apostle Paul! One thing we must bear in mind is the fact that Jesus preached and teach all his life amongst Israelites {Jews}, so when he appointed Paul as a special Apostle, Jesus made Paul the Apostle to the gentiles! Romans 11:13 compared to Act 9:15 Jesus preached and taught people who are used to God's laws but Paul must preach and teach people who knew nothing about God's laws! So there must be variations in the way both of them present their teachings! However let everyone know that Paul was highly educated and he is well exposed, that's why Jesus chose him for the job! Thanks, and God bless you for this thread! |

Elijahrona:This is how far I got in this thread before deciding not one of you knows the history of the time and what was going on between the Apostles who went about with the Lord and Paul who saw Christ only in the Spirit. My apologies to those who do know and who I might have missed. There's an awful lot of assumed knowledge of the outright ignorant who have not even read their Bible but think they can possibly fully understand what Paul was writing in his extreme high intellectual Greek. They remind me of people who have not fed on the Word claiming their belly is full of it, and this, despite discussing Paul, he for whom without there'd be no Word. One good thing about this is the Holy Spirit convicts you of your lack of knowledge if you do not allow your own conscience to. Another is it informs you to do something about the gaps in your knowledge. For those who wish to increase knowledge start with Paul the Apostle and Pauline Christianity, after reading your Bible of course. Then consider Bible Study Tools Paul and Jesus and Christianity Today's Jesus vs. Paul (though wonder why some hide some of it). Then read the article, Christianity Before Paul by James D Tabor, and his book, Paul and Jesus: How the Apostle Transformed Christianity equally titled. And then wonder if Paul Invented Christian and if so, why. This reading list is not in anyway intended as all there is so if anyone is led by the Holy Spirit to decrease ignorance and increase knowledge further, may God be glorified.

michael132: ![]() You be real grail message. It's before I used to be bothered about Paul and what Satan's children have used those letters to do as Peter warned. One thing is sure. We do not abolish the law, rather we establish it. Romans 3:3. Any time Paul seems to veer off with his own man-made doctrine, as an Isrealite I discard such wrong teaching under the authority of the TORAH. Dasol. |

1 Peter 3 v 15-16 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. |
