Wicked British are damaging your educational institution and lazy mumu youth are happy and praising it . When was the last time BBC run a documentary about research breakthrough or academic breakthrough from unilag ? When it’s bad news about African the slavemaster are always quick to report it but when a Nigerian child made 9 As in GCSE/WAEC they should run a documentary about that too .

I condem sex for grades in tertiary institutions.

However, black man will continue to fall prey to the timeless psychology game of the West. The intent of the investigation was never to help curb lecturers - students sexual harassment. No, it was to rubbish, reduce and maintain their ever stance that everything about Africa is inferior, scam, bribed-gotten, etc. Recently, the number of Africans (West Africans) in diaspora doing exceptionally well especially in the field of academic, medicine and politics have been evidentially. This report will likely have negative ripple effect on African lecturers, students, pastors, etc in the Int'l Communities.
BBC have gotten exactly what they want.
#stoppopularizing it.

Excuses, excuses, excuses!!!!!

The ladies behind the documentary are black women ditto the victims.

At the bold, so because very few professionals have done exceptionally well in their careers, then criminal acts should not be exposed? Once again, excuses which cretinous in nature.

Don't be silly, sexual offences should be exposed by anyone where possible. I can't believe someone would reason like this. BBC has the right to air a documentary on any issue they want. If you think they should have done a documentary about some other issue, why don't you do your own documentary about these issues?

So PFA hasn't changed since all these years. It was so brazen then that i felt like the ladies involved actually just enjoyed the act.

I just wish this precedent set by the BBC will urge our young girls to come out and tell their story.. Most especially those from University of Ilorin... Linguistics and PFA too

PFA was never like that pre-2005 when we left. I cant imagine the lecturers that may be involved in this nature of atrocities: Olalusi? Akinsipe? Ikibe? Adeoye? Adegbite?... Abeg name names.

Shame on predators.

Hey Mr man, this case is different. This is the genesis of most of our problems in this country where female folks see their body as an asset to get what they want because of the level of molestation they have been subjected to in schools. These tertiary institutions should be the role models for students to be a good ambassador of this nation and a great leader, not the ones that are debasing our moral values.

This BBC revelation is good for everyone except the culprits, you should thank them not castigating them.

BBC must be very stupid to have picked unilag (ONE OF THE VERY LEAST PLACE 'SEX FOR GRADE THING HAPPENS)
But at least, it's good this randy one is going down
Unilag is filled with AJEBOTAS and little children amongst many staff children and relatives so, such a thing is not very rampant but happens ON A CODED LEVEL....

When you talk of SEX FOR GRADE, go to headquarters like'
DELSU
UNICAL
OOU
FUTO
OSU
Ekpoma etc
In these places, they see it as a normal thing, THEY DONT HIDE IT.
They'll tell you to your face and even boast that if you like, report them to vc or whoever that nothing is going to happen.
seconded for delsu. They really need to investigate all the lecturers in that shithole

I trust Nigerians in this kind of situation.

Fact is, only about 2% of the lecturers in our campuses that may not be involved in this practice. My shockest moment was when one of my female course mates was asked by a lecturer to meet him somewhere in a hotel. This is a man I could swear he could never contemplate such act, but I was deeply disappointed. These lecturers see girls as even their right to sleep with anyone they like and to their satisfaction. The practice has become almost 'untamable'.

And what change will your condemnation on a faceless forum bring? You're a laughing stock, you should know that.

However, black man will continue to fall prey to the timeless psychology game of the West. The intent of the investigation was never to help curb lecturers - students sexual harassment.

How did you know that?

No, it was to rubbish, reduce and maintain their ever stance that everything about Africa is inferior, scam, bribed-gotten, etc.

To achieve what?

Recently, the number of Africans (West Africans) in diaspora doing exceptionally well especially in the field of academic, medicine and politics have been evidentially. This report will likely have negative ripple effect on African lecturers, students, pastors, etc in the Int'l Communities.

What if it does? Are majority of them saints? Didn't we know all these people and what they were doing before? This is just an evidence that wasn't available before.

BBC have gotten exactly what they want.
#stoppopularizing it.

No, BBC just gave us what we wanted all along and that's exposing the rot in our system. And we're going to popularise it.
People like you will continue to provide cover for criminal acts until you or your daughter become a victim one day. Sense falls on you

I find your comments disturbing. What wrong did the bbc do here exactly? People with your views and mentality are the reason the Nigerian edu system is messed up. What if your daughter/ son is sexually harassed tomorrow, will you still feel the same way? Let’s be honest so things can start to improve in the country. Soon it’ll filter down to secondary schools and primary too. Thank God for the bbc who had the guts to carry out such investigative journalism.
