When I read replies to threads like this, I wish people are as honest and sincere as they sound.
Not trying to discourage anybody who wants to sponsor but experience with similar people in the past as thought me some lessons
Nigerian youth should incorporate sincerity to their zeal
A lot of people have dormant funds that they will rather invest than keep in banks . But the fear of fraudsters is the beginning of wisdom.
As a victim of similar incident, I will rather give a grant than to sponsor. At least for now until am otherwise convinced

Bitter but honest truth. I really hope to be among the lucky few that gets a grant or a sponsor. So help me God.

I will like you to consider my Poultry Farming business. This is our parent company website: http://phedagrovet.com
We are the largest private poultry farmers in Delta state, and Kano state.

I have been in poultry farming with my parents all my life. I am a chemical engineer by training but i believe my future is in food processing and not oil money.
Since i graduated in 2015, I have worked with CHI Ajanla Farms in 2016 for my NYSC in their poultry processing unit where we slaughtered 5,000 broilers every single day.
I and my dad then raised 250,000 laying birds in Delta state for Olam Layer out-grower scheme in 2017 and I got compensated well as the manager for that program.

I also ran CBN Anchor Borrower program with Farmer co-operatives in Kano state in September 2018 where Phed Agrovet's(parent company) team of doctors were the input suppliers and monitoring team for 19,000 broiler birds raised and processed to major distributors in Kano and Abuja.

From proceeds saved, I have slowly branched out on my own with my company called Sadastem Agro Allied.
I have acquired land in Kano State, built pens that can accomodate 5000 mature birds to maturity, borehole and even imported compact slaughtering machines from India. I have Collateral for any impending investor.

I have all documents, referees, C of O and everything available on request.

What we need is 500,000 Naira operating capital to buy our next batch of Broilers to begin rearing + processing.
I am certain I can convince alot more people when they see our operation.
Our parent company is already well known in the poultry market and can monitor this project with a team of 5 certified doctors
and we can market these birds immediately they are of age (6 weeks on average).

[b]Here's a summarised copy of my Economics of production for 6 batches a year Broiler processing farm:

@Daniel,

I got your email, but unfortunately Kano is too far for me. I am strictly looking for a business located in Lagos, and which aligns with my interest. Why don't you approach Bank of Industry or like, as you seem to have a good proposal.

Cheers.

I sincerely wish you the best.

I have many ideas that can bring millions or dollars and naira but no sponsor/capital

1) I discovered a trading style or strategy in forex that can't fail. just min of $200 capital required and can make min of a dollar in a day with $50 trade plan...$200 trade plan can earn $4 or more daily
2) In football betting I also discovered a betting strategy that's 100% guaranteed. min cap 100k to make 1k in a day. I stopped betting last year when I discovered this but no capital

Pls if you can fund any of my plan I will be very happy, thanks.

I have 2 business ideas.

1 I can source for charcoal in Oyo State where it is being produced and supply/distribute same to readily available retailers/dealers in Lagos where it is highly demanded. The major thing needed to start is capital, as it is cash and carry business. There is always available customers for it in the cities. Within 3-4 months, one will get his/her investment back.

2 I can engage in cassava cultivation. Cultivation of cassava is a very profitable business in Nigeria. I have the experience and skills.
It only takes minimum of 12 months before it could be harvested.

I have sent a proposal to your mail.
Thank you.

PROPOSAL FOR MULTI BUSINESS CENTRE VENTURE
Business Location
Ekiti State University Environ

Business in View
Charging
Data Sales
Photocopy
POS/Financial Transactions

Reasons for Business Selection
Ekiti State University Students’ area has been without light since February 14, 2014. There are also only 26 charging centres in the whole school area serving thousands of students.
Students charge their phones to get updated on social media and school updates hence they regularly need data and I currently sell over 5gb every day.
The charging business will require running of generator for over 8 hours everyday. Presently only 3 places (2 inside the campus and 1 outside the campus on extreme) currently make photocopies at N5/copy rate. If the generator is kept running for charging, it can also be used for making photocopies at cheaper rate.
93% of the students in the university live off campus hence they prefer to use POS service for withdrawal compared to going to bank. There are many competitors in this line already. However, one need may drive other sales.

I can present the complete budget and prospect

I want to appreciate everyone who took this thread seriously and responded with such amazing enthusiasm. When I opened this thread, I had two targets. The first one was to seek out one person with a small scale business idea that demonstrates an understanding of his /her immediate environment and their needs. This person must prove that he/she is in need of funds for this purpose. Because I expected this category to include very small or even micro scale start up, my donation to it is entirely charitable and no refund is expected.
The second target is someone who has already started a business that needs to be scaled up. The business must have a good track record and with clear signs that further injection of funds would take it to the next level. In this category, I was hoping to strike a partnership deal.
I must confess that I was impressed with the numerous ideas that came forth. Unfortunately I had to make only one choice for each category.
I have selected an idea for the first category and had made the fund available to the person earlier this week.
I have spoken with about 3 persons for the second category and have one more person to speak with today. At this point, I would say that I am no more open to further proposals.
I will now concentrate on providing support to these two persons, hoping that the set goals are achieved.
In the nearest future, I hope to re-open the call for more proposals as soon as this phase is successfully executed.
Thanks all.

I have been in this business since 2016 when I quit my 9-5 job to go full scale into this business, that's about 3 years and counting. Net worth of the business is a little above seven hundred thousand naira for now as I still operate under a minimal scale due to low funding. I have also taken time to create a business plan through my experience in the business and I have developed a well thought out model on how to maximise profit and also reduce cost of production. I assure you that this would be worth your while if you grant me more audience. Thank you sir.

Forward your proposal to adabhie.kingsley@yahoo.com

I came across this thread last week and I sent in my proposal. I came through, Yes I am one of the beneficiaries of this thread. I know I didn’t have the best business idea but I was able to sell myself, I was able sell my idea...that is the key thing about starting a business. You can have the worst business but one thing that brings the goal is if you are able to sell this idea and you are committed to it.
To all other participants, please do not feel you can’t achieve it and your idea is not good enough. We will all get there. Three things are very important in starting a business and even when you are in business: FAITH, PRAYER AND HARD-WORK.
Thank you so much Mr @stancima for this opportunity, for the help....God bless everything you do. Please help me say a prayer for him Thank you...thank you....thank you I promise by God’s grace I will come back to say my success story.

I'm looking for an investor to fund a farm plantation business with an annual return of 6-8million annually. I'm looking for 2.5 Million.

My business model is my investor gets 100% the first two years as I'll be cultivating perennials. I. E if you fund the startup with 2.5M,im willing to repay 5Million at the end of first harvest and another 5 Million at the end of the second farming season.

I am willing to meet with my investor biweekly throughout the two years to give biweekly milestones and carry my investor along the entire investment duration.

The farmland is situated at Oyo State, I have a lawyer and willing to submit to legal procedures to do business. Can we do business together?
