Exact opposite of my post. While Messi's road to greatness may involve 1 - 5, Ronaldo's path may not include 1 - 5 but you definitely can't say his impact isn't felt as Messi's.

Of course. Just pointing out how messi is heads and shoulders above everyone else. Normal football conventions dictate that the things he does should not be possible for someone his age. Valdez actually had a very good spell for about 2 seasons or so, when he was one of the very best in Europe.

But surely that spell wasn't long enough to earn him the goalie of the decade.
