Well....so many are resigning....the fact DAT it will take smtime is bcoz army has spend much on u....eg....wen a tracker, SF, amphibious soldier or officer wants to resign.... It will take longer period bfor it can be honoured.....why bcoz....dey HV spend money on u for doz training.

The CDS is army but choose Navy for him daughter cos naval posting is usually 1year 6months at length. They duly rotate and changes its soldiers with good welfare and logistics. unlike army that stays for 5yrs death go meet person cos its too long and it will be tiring.

Computer will automatically arrange your course of study, class of degree, professional certification etc in descending order e.g 1st class, first followed by 2:2 then professional certification.
After this, then godfather's will submit their candidates name, then the list populated by the computer program will now be perused by the officers selecting names, at this stage na tinini Tanana them go do, if you're lucky they'll pick your name. Then together with the godfathers them slot them go add am with the lucky candidates then publish the names.
As of yesterday the board met because of the list, so keep your fingers crossed and keep praying.
If your name show thank your God and prepare(tidy all your documents) for the interview, if your name no show still thank your God and accept it in good fate.

Quick question.. please why is it that NA don't have welfare package, professional courses, career development like that of Navy and air Force. What are they doing wrong and what are they not getting right.

They do go for courses infact if you're in SSC/RC you go read book sote your brain go shrink, that is if you don't wanna fail any exams. It's just that most courses in army are done in Nigeria(being the oldest amongst the other two arms) they've trained alot of instructors and doctrines that is unique to us. Though they still travel abroad for courses sha, now NDA now offers Post-grad degrees, and at the home of Infantry (Jaji) lots of courses ranging from special warfare, counter terrorism and a host of others are being done in Jaji, many foreign soldiers even train at Jaji. 3 months ago some British soldiers came for one of such trainings.
For DSSC they'll pester to get those professional courses if you want to have a good PR which is prerequisite for promotion, I know a Captain that is currently doing his PhD in Kano.
Even recruits benefits from the benevolence of the military because army do train some of them in university infact many of them.
For me, the best welfare any soldier should wish for is training and more training, the rest is secondary.
