Please I need advice the guru in the House should help me out am stuck in between buying Mercedes Benz e350or m35
Note I was using fx 35 before it was totaled now am using a rx330 but that is crap

What's your budget?

Go for Benz. It is a car u would love each time u see it.

M35 is ok o. But the beauty will fade away with time.

Avoid the benz. Unless you dont mind frequent trips to repair workshops so you can experience superior driving dynamics and not forgeting the prestige that comes with the badge.

M35 offers close to same driving experience without regular trips to repair workshops and no benz badge. Your call.

If you dont mind my asking but i am curios to know Why you dont like the rx330, in what areas did you prefer the fx35 to it?

Tbh, all the FM platform cars are great. The Q50 RS is a proper M340i and C43 competitor, and with some cheap mods it can legit smash the M3 and C63s.

If it were me, i’d choose either an M45S or E550, i’ve seen the best of V6

I'd actually say, get a GS350. Its faster than that BMW E60 530i, E350 merc and M35. Yet more equally as comfy as the BMW and merc and more reliable than all combined.

You didn't specify the year
W211 e350 (m272 engines) first phase had balance shaft issues
If you're lucky, the previous owner might have corrected it and you're good to go
If I were you
Without batting an eyelid
I'll go for the w212 R
M276 engine
300 plus horsepower
Sporty suspension
Bloody head turner
Very very comfortable
It all boils down to what you can buy
Either ways
HMU and I'll give you options to pick from so you'll pay and we both smile home

How many u Don see stop for road or abandoned at mechanic workshop?
The problem with some Benz owners is
1) Never let a roadside mechanic touch ur car
2)Get a scanner and it will amaze you Benz especially the E Class is the most reliable of all brands, u will realise most of the the issue can be fixed DIY
But once inlet a roadside compromise it
That's where you hear Benz is unreliable

Buy a good Benz and a scanner and you are good to go for many years

He shd get the merc or infinity. Believe me, he wont regret it. But the BMW. ...let me not share experience. Some brands can cause heart break more than an unfaithful woman. This days we buy cars with our head not with our minds. High BP will not be his portion if he gets the Benz or opts for infinity.

@ red fonts, you're all emotional and no logical, no empirical evidence. the OP never mentioned if its a W211 or 212. Yes, Lexus is the most reliable luxury brand. Heck, the GS350 even faster and more powerful than the E klasse E350.
