All other Nigerians have worked them out hence the witty interpretation of Igbo as 'I go before others'. We know they only love and wish to uplift their own at the detriment of others. This is the main issue that will continue to deny Igbos ultimate power. They can be federal Ministers and govern their own States. To give them ultimate power over all Nigerians is a different ball game entirely given the tribalism and favouritism towards their own Igbos have always displayed.

Yes. All 194 days in office which only served as another damning indictment of the Igboman's innate proclivity for favouring his own always ala "I go before others". Igbo.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnson_Aguiyi-Ironsi

194 days in office
Aguiyi-Ironsi inherited a Nigeria deeply fractured by its ethnic and religious cleavages. The fact that none of the high-profile victims of the 1966 coup were of Igbo extraction, and also that the main beneficiaries of the coup were Igbo, led the Northern part of the country to believe that it was an Igbo conspiracy. Though Aguiyi-Ironsi tried to dispel this notion by courting the aggrieved ethnic groups through political appointments and patronage, his failure to punish the coup plotters and the promulgation of the now infamous "Decree No. 34"—which abrogated the country's federal structure in exchange for a unitary one— crystallized this conspiracy theory.[9]

The truth is that Northern politicians are running their mouths, flexing their muscles and beating their chests because they have succeeded in putting fear in their Southern colleagues to accept their shenanigans. Unfortunately, what they fail to realize is that a BOYCOTT of election by a UNITED South CRIPPLES everything about 2023 Northern presidency bid and set the stage for something cataclysmic, the end result of which is yet unknown about the continued existence of the country.

If Southern Nigeria made and continues to make compromises by accepting Federal Character and Quota systems to preserve the unity of Nigeria, the North MUST be make their own compromises by accepting rotational presidency for the same goal.

Enough of this anoyingly irrational and shamelessly insensitive posturing. Northern Nigeria and Southern Nigeria need each other to exist as Nigeria. No entity is superior to the other.

Come 2023, if North retains the presidency as though nobody is capable in the South, the Southern leaders would have absolutely nobody to blame but themselves. Nobody takes you seriously until you assert yourself and time has come for that in view of feelers from the North.
The country should split up so that the North can rule forever..... in their own country!

Let the Igbos start leaving Nigeria now because nobody is holding them and stop blackmailing Nigeria and Nigerians for holding them back

One Nigeria my a.s.s. I'm happy this 2023 issue is forcing everyone to show their hands. No more fake "brother" musings. People will show you their true color. Just give them time

As for your callousness, The federal government has shown mighty enthusiasm in entertaining the thought right? They have shown a willingness to be flexible on the topic. So it should be as easy as pack n go...just like moving from apartment. Smh

Thanks for speaking up sir. Your apex wisdom is tantamount

Look at this Pig from Aba calling others dirty cheesy

Yoruba is not like your inferrior Igbo race with the urge to beat chest and make noise like Gorilla apes.

When it come to achievement your whole Igbo race don't even come close to Yoruba in fact you are the inconsequential one making empty noise.

Chinua Achebe died knowing he was below Wole Soyinka

The first African to win a Nobel Laurette in Literature was a Yoruba

The first African to win a pulitzer( second greatest prize after Nobel Laurette) in Journalism was a Yoruba

A Yoruba is the first African member to join World Trade Board

A Yoruba is the first Nigerian journalist to be elected as Vice president of World Editors Forum

A Yoruba is the second richest black man in the world

A Yoruba woman is the second Richest woman in Africa

Meanwhile top five richest Nigerians you are no where to be found all you know how to do is beat chest about making some imaginary money.

Yoruba is also the only tribe in Nigeria with Grammy Award winners.

Yoruba also have the most influential men of God in Africa.

These are achievement the Igbo race may never achieve in the next 100 years

Just because chest beating is against our culture doesn't mean you should start saying trash against your superior.

The whole Igbo race is below Yoruba.

Help your useless life first before beating chest like a typical gorilla ape

Oga, Philip Emeagwali's work in computer science and mathematics is far far greater than all these achievements and records you listed here. His works made a very big impact in the world today and every living being in this world benefits one way or the other from his invention. Oga what do you benefit personally from Adenuga, Alakija, Adeboye, Oyedepo or even Wole Soyinka etc even as a Yoruba. Even all these first this first that (from Igbo, Yoruba or any other tribe) are absolutely nothing if it doesn't benefit Nigeria talk more of the world.
Till a Yoruba invents something that will highly impact the world positively, the igbos lead you for now because of Philip Emeagwali.

Y would any sensible person hand power to know Tribal lords/Warrior?

Do u think Buhari is a fool or he dont have advisers?
Zik was using his closeness to Balewa to plant igbos in strategic positions like he did at UNILAG and others. What Igbos was doing at that time was they would ensure that UNN finished final exams before others and recruit igbos to all stragetic government agencies.

Philip Emeagwali stirs up diverse emotions in Nigerians, Africans, and black people around the world. His claim of being a father of the Internet, of having invented the Connection Machine, of possessing 41patented inventions, of winning “the Nobel Prize of Computing” and of being a “doctor” and/or “professor” have been conclusively debunked with widely documented evidence.

Meanwhile, Take it or leave it, the igbo free-spirit and culture push them to be successful in all aspect of life has always been the driving tool to their success in life. They've always learnt to be forward thinkers and how to manipulate through obstacles to be successful. An average igboman doesn't want to be seen as a failure nor as a never-do-well. That's why he'll stay away from his family members to try and make it before returning home. Igbos are always driven by the passion to be on top and never be ruled over. That's a sound characteristic of a high-IQ'ed person. People with high intelligence do not like to be ruled over, they love their freedom and always show it everywhere.

Igbos have never thought of yoruba as competition. They have never thought for once a yoruba man will outsmart them in any endeavour. That's the truth. Igbos were born to think they're superior humans. That has always made them stand out anywhere they're.

When I was in primary school in the mid-90s, we had our classes from A - E, the guys that were topping the whole classes were igbos. This is not a false info. I can't start mentioning their names here, this is to show you how much the igbos compete with the yorubas in their own turf and their own educational system. In 2013, the best FUTA student was an igbo guy. So, what are we saying? There are many more records igbos still managed to drag with your yoruba brothers in the west. Your records are non-existent in the east. The igbos come to your place to drag university education with you. They top you in post-ume scores and you're forced to manage poly-technics and college of education(not that its bad).

Check Unilag for instance, we can boast of 30% igbo population. Come to unizik, you can't even dare apply for the school because 1st, you think you can't match up with the competition. Igbo race still leads you and will continue to lead you. Its a cultural thing and not something you just start. Your culture affords you relax and do nothing. But the igbo culture doesn't.

And you want me to believe Sahara reporters that even Nigerians know it's not reliable and also published by your kinsman. That Wole Soyinka won Nobel prize doesn't make him the greatest and most influential African author of all time, that title belongs to Chinua Achebe. His book Things fall apart is the best selling book from any African dead or alive. These are facts. Check out these links

https://www.risingafrica.org/storiescountry/world/top-5-most-influential-african-authors-of-all-time/

You can as well find other proof yourself.

Achebe and Soyinka's achievements are great but personally I don't regard them much because they don't affect me and majority of Nigerians in our everyday lives because we all use computers(including phones) daily but don't read plays and novel frequently.I will rate an innovator like Philip Emeagwali any day any time over those authors because his contribution to computer science far outweighs these two.
