Abubakar Rimi contested OBJ even when it was zoned to the South. Buhari contested obj even when he was about going for second term(Southern turn).

You simply do not understand coded political talk. Yoruba leaders are saying the APC, effectively the Yoruba Party, must give the Party ticket to a Yoruba by fielding Yorubas alone at the APC Primaries. The PDP can do whatever it wants as the APC Yoruba candidate will still defeat a Northern PDP candidate be it Tambuwal, Kwankwaso, Atiku or anyone else.

I don't think I need to remind you that no Yoruba ran for the APC ticket, out of respect for the agreement the Party ticket should go to a Northerner, at the 2015 APC Primaries when Buhari slugged it out against Kwankwaso, Atiku, Sam Nda-Isaiah and Rochas Okorochas. Yoruba leaders won't use all mouth to talk for the benefit of people like you who don't see below the surface. If you know what they are saying and the legitimate demand they are making you know. Just remember Presidential candidates emerge at Primaries, with only Party delegates allowed to vote, and not on general election day that is open to public voters.

Look rotation is between North and South loosely and not zone-specific in APC. Let SE and SS fight for the APC ticket against the SW na. No problem if SE or SS candidate win it after negotiating with all others from the south. Same if it is North being considered. The Southerners in APC will let Northerners work out the specific zone to produce the APC candidate and not dictate to them.

The SW are vocal in the APC because they know their own strength, what they contributed to create and sustain APC and ,most importantly, what they deserve for their effort of ensuring the Party captured the centre from a PDP that was set to continue ruling for the next 60 years according to Ogbulafor. You tell me what the SE or SS in APC contributed the victory of the APC in 2015 and 2019. Is it work to actualise the merger they did not believe in, with the likes of APGA failing to fully commit, or mobilisation to help PMB win all SE and SS States enroute to Aso Rock?
