I will like to appeal to you to remember those of us around Agege Motor Way to Sango -Ota axis. The traffic on that axis is killing us gradually , potholes all over the road from Abule Egba while the unfinished construction work between Ikeja and Abule Egba is untold pain with traffic congestion everytime.

While I agree with you on the bad state of road, I do not think this roads became bad post May 2019?? It have been there all along but we choose to look the other way because our own person is no more there. Such sentiments is also replicated in the federal level.

Lagos State government are always doing make up on roads that can easily be washed away by water.

Declaring State of Emergency to rehabilitate or patch potholes on roads, is overkill in my opinion. The projects should be strategically done in phases to ease pressure on commuters and other road users.

Also, what are the stipulated quota of Nigerians these multinational construction companies are mandated to employ and train? As far as I know, we have qualified Engineers and Engineering companies in Nigeria that can execute projects like this.

Having said that, let's wait and see what becomes of this announcement.
