Ma'am in the house, abeg help your sister biko.

I am 2monthplus and my tummy is big already. The pregnancy is obvious now even though my scan says everything is okay but still worried because of the big tummy.

Google says pregnancy will start showing after three month.

In other news, Akorede will turn one tomorrow. kiss
This time last year I was still at the baby fair with Alphahandmaiden cheesy feeling regular contractions and breathing it away.

During her pregnancy, I fell sick as usual in my third trimester and found it difficult to shop for her arrival. I spent most days in bed winning giveaways on IG grin (I miss those days) and then when I got better, I went to the Island to shop and just laidat, I fell. It took like 4 people grabbing me and breaking my fall (may God continue to bless those strangers that averted that danger), then the day I kept vomiting from market and still had to drive nko? I will park and vomit every 500m. It wasn't funny at all.
I had a lot of people I could send to the market but I didn't trust their taste sad, will they be able to detect fake from original, will they choose cool colors for me, will they know what this or that was? Buying from IG was dicey, they wanted to use price to cut my head plus they didn't have everything in one shop. Delivery fee o cry

October 15th brought with it 2 babies for me.
The first and most precious is Akorede.
The second and most exhausting is Nana's Baby Essentials. Your one stop shop for everything delivery and more!

So in celebration, I'll be giving any mom that gives birth tomorrow our Straight Outta Momma bodysuits and 2 pairs of baby shoes. If it's a girl, she gets extra 2 hair clips from Akorede's plenty hair clip collections! (never been worn)

Sorry teamie about the malaria and cough. I don't dare cough hard to my stomach, will just take the cough from my chest and cough like siren. My vomit comes from mouth and nose that's why I don't dare trigger it.

I recently got my Baby things from Zaynie and my experience was beyond expectation as it was not just about the purchase of items but she added advisory and consultancy service I never paid for to it. As a FTM, I could not have asked for more and I could not have made a better choice with no stress. It was such a wonderful experience buying all my baby things from her at reasonable and competitive prices with delivery done at my door post..........I was really impressed and satisfied.

For mamas in the house who want to shop for baby things online, Zaynie (Nana's baby essentials) is really a perfect choice. you will get more than the value for your money.

Okay. Let me drop this here so it helps someone out there viewing this thread.

I've had 2 cs.
First : Oct 2017
Second : Dec 2018.

First experience.
I dilated till 10cm and was pushing for what seemed like forever. I was already begging the nurses to bring out my baby however it takes. I didn't mind whether it was by suction, cs or anything to ease me from the excruciating pains I was going through. I cried. Hit my hands on the wall with heavy blows. Stretched my legs out like it would fall off (that leg did not remain the same for months, I couldn't walk well with it, felt like it removed from my ball and socket joint).
Oh God, how I begged to be relieved from that state (God, you're wonderful, hurray to every mother out there).

Fee minutes later, the doc entered and asked why I was bleeding so much.
Note: Baby had already engaged, they were seeing her head already. It was just to push her out remaining.
Immediately, he said cs.
All I wanted was to see myself in the theatre and he should just remove the baby anyhow he could. Or better still, he should tear me there gangan and relieve me of this pain.
Alas, he finished the paperwork and everything in what seemed like forever and I was taking to the theatre.
I was shouting to be injected with whatever it is they give people o. Just give it to me, at least, I wouldn't feel this pain again.

I woke up some hours later..

ME : where's my baby?
Mum : She's fine, they're taking care of her.
ME : Drifted off again as the aneasthsia hasn't weared off completely.
Some minutes or hours later, I don't know..
ME : where's my baby?
Mum : She's fine. They're taking care of her.
I drifted off again. I didn't know for how long.
Later..
ME : Did my baby make it?
Aunt : No, she nodded her head.

I lost her on the 28th of October, 2017.

I'll write the second experience later.

Hello ladies.
It's been a while in here (I've been quite busy).
I'm trying to make my brand. Support a humble beginning Biko.

So, like I promised, I'm here to write my second ceasarian section experience.
It was on the 3rd of December, 2018.
Throughout the pregnancy, I was hoping for a vaginal birth, at the same time, my mind was open to any form of birth so far I'm able to see and hold my child in my arms, not just for a split second but forever.

Hence, I was very active, more active during the pregnancy than my first. So active that I could jog for an hour at 38weeks.
I started most labour exercises at around 36weeks because my doctors weren't going to let me past 40weeks due to my history. According to them, if I fell in labour before then, fine, if I don't, cs.
My people, na so I walk walk walk o soteeey, my baby was even used to it that he wouldn't budge.
As at 38weeks, I started jumping / jogging on the spot. For where?
My baby sat down gidigba inside my womb.
The most I felt was a little tightening in my tummy which would relieve me almost immediately I stopped whatever exercises.

At 38w5d, I asked hubby to accompany me to have a long walk. It was veeery brisk that himself was tired when we got back after am hour.
Once, I read a trick, to tell the doc one is feeling somehow somehow they could at least check if there's any progress.
During the walk on the previous evening, I felt some tightening which later relived me.

So, when it was my turn to meet the doctor, I told her j was having contractions the previous day, she queried me on why I wasn't in the hospital, I told her it stopped. She got her gloves and all she needed. She was going to do a VE. I was happy. At least, I'd know where I stand.
Alas, she told me I was 2cm dilated and I wouldn't be allowed to go home.

Alas, she told me I was 2cm dilated and I wouldn't be allowed to go home.

I was taken to the labour room by a nurse. I called my husband immediately that I'd be needing my hospital bag. At the labor ward, I was checked and admitted. Nothing was wrong with me o. They attendants were checking me at intervals, I and baby, we were fine. They'll ask again after a while, madam, are you feeling any pains? I'll say no. As sunset approached, I was getting tired and asking them to discharge me that nothing was actually wrong with me.
At around past 6pm during the shift change that same day, the new doctor was checking my file and she immediately asked to speak to I and my husband. When we met, she said, the interval between my previous cs and this is short and she wouldn't advise I go through labor. Even though the chances of the womb opening is very minimal (about 0.05%) or so, there's still a chance. She asked us to decide if we'd still wait for labour or just go into the theatre. She said it was completely our choice and she'll support any decision we make. We told her we'll get back to her.
We went back and discussed as a team and a family and we made the best decision to bring him out that day.

The decision was made around 7pm.
My little sweetheart was brought out at 10:14pm the same day.
All my pains and discomfort vanished as I heard his first cry.
I'm glad I took the bold step.
I'm grateful for a supportive husband.
Ultimately, I'm most grateful to God for giving me a chance at motherhood.
May he bless every womb that seeks.
Easy peasy delivery to you all.
One love kiss kiss

Mamas I need all the help, advice and solutions I can get. My heart is heavy. cry

I gave birth to my prince 3.6kg on Oct 3rd, with an episiotomy. The stitch was done and I thought all was well. Left the hospital on Saturday evening and I started my warm water sit bath 2ce daily from that night.

But after a few days I noticed the blood discharge was reducing but I could feel some other discharge like pus. I did another sit bath and checked with a mirror. I saw that some of the stitch was holding just one half of the cut. As a FTM I was wondering If that was normal. I spoke to a nurse friend on the fone who tried to calm me down. She said if I felt something was wrong I should visit the hospital. The naming ceremony would hold in my FIL's place so we had to go. I left 2 days b4 but I had it in mind all through. I told my hubby we needed to go back to the hospital. After the ceremony on Thursday I was insisting I needed to leave on Friday. We left on Saturday, I stopped by at the hospital. I used a General H. On getting there, they said the doctor was busy in the theater and I had to wait. I waited for some time then left to be back early the ffl morning. I eventually saw a doc after waiting for over 2 hrs, then he just looked and said this is sepsis. He was asking if I used hot water and I never did. He asked me to go for MCS. And wrote me drugs. The test will be ready in 3 days. I believe/ think the hospital infected because i can't explain how this came about. I remember when the doctor wanted to stitch me up after the delivery, he was asking the matron about one of the tools if it was clean. Even though I was in pain and shivering from the delivery and what they gave me, i heard them.

I have been so down since this whole thing, the doctor said they wont do a restitch that it will heal. I am so worried about the opening.

Please I need any support in terms of medical or experienced mummies.

Teamie sorry about the weakness, are you sure there's no malaria?
I have an hyperactive 20 months toddler that whenever we go out, people will always credit me that you are really trying. I think that add to the weakness but somehow I'm forcing myself to do things.

Please, try to stay active as much as possible, it sometimes helps one to get out of the weakness phase.

The Lord will make the journey easy for us all.

When I was 2/3 months preggy, people kept saying I looked 5month. I'm a FTM and currently 34wks with my big belly grin . As long as baby is fine, I see no problem. Its just our body and bump type. Some show early, some don't.

omodasolamary:

I recently got my Baby things from Zaynie and my experience was beyond expectation as it was not just about the purchase of items but she added advisory and consultancy service I never paid for to it. As a FTM, I could not have asked for more and I could not have made a better choice with no stress. It was such a wonderful experience buying all my baby things from her at reasonable and competitive prices with delivery done at my door post..........I was really impressed and satisfied.

For mamas in the house who want to shop for baby things online, Zaynie (Nana's baby essentials) is really a perfect choice. you will get more than the value for your money.
