This is what we keep telling SE and SS folks. Even Northerns hawks agree it must be SW if the North cannot retain the Presidency in 2023. The North does not and will not trust the Igbos for a long time to come. No wahala with SS but GEJ was there for 5 years directly before PMB so the region cannot be allowed back to do what is a possible 8 years to add to 5 equalling 13 years out of 21. imposificant. Nigeria will have a SW President in 2023. Igbos won't like to hear that but this is the reality and the North will make it happen because the Yorubas are the allies they know they can completely rely on by proxy if they themselves cannot be in power.
what do u people gain from this tribal bigotry? Do they put food in ur mouth? Is time to get sense life is too short to be hating on each other, yoruba and igbo hatred exists only on naiaraland believe me in real life they run things together.

THERE IS A REASON, WE THE IGBOS MURDERED THE SADAUNA.

HE TOO LIKE JUNAID UNDERESTIMATED THE IGBOS AND THOUGHT HE COULD TALK TO US WITH CONTEMPT.

AND WAT HAPPENED?

IGBO KILLED HIM.

IGBO ARE NOT NORTHERN MINORITIES, WE ARE STRONG AND RESOLUTE.

Igbos didn't kill Sardauna, a group of coupists that included Yoruba and other tribes did

after writing this rubbish, I waiting to see which political party is going to trust the west with their ticket ,is not like before were one party decide who becomes president the west have no chance to compete bro ,except the two parties decide to zone their ticket to one region ,middle belt stand more chance than any region.

Brother, you are just being emotional. The part in bold is laughable. How can the SW not be trusted with the APC ticket when the entire world know they are co-owners of the Party with the North? Only the SW or North can get the APC ticket. Fact. I can't speak for the PDP but I know the APC candidate will likely be from the SW. 80% sure of that.

Yeee!!! You can call Igbo's chest beaters but that's your understanding.... had it been an Igbo statesman was insulted like this for no just cause....they will actually defend their own.
Nobody should use anybody's sense in this zoning of the presidency.... I don't see anything wrong with what Ayo said that warranted such insult.

Thank you.
but sardauna deserved to die.
a madman who sits in his harem in kaduna and thinks he can decide the destiny of the south.
chukwuma nzeogwu did Nigeria a great service in killing that devil of a sardauna.
and to think that the north idolise such a man who holds contempt for the south goes a long way to show the hatred the north have for the south.

Why dignifying him with media space all the time. We have several pressure groups in the north, which position does he hold in any of them. He is a spent force looking for cheap publicity and relevance.
Re: Igbo Presidency: Ayo Adebanjo Speaking For Himself – Junaid Mohammed by signz: 6:56pm On Oct 14, 2019
Nigerians ignore this.

2023 is still far.

They'll not hand over to a southerner not to talk of Igbo presidency.

Lately there's been talks of Igbo presidency, don't be fooled. All these are distractions from what is going on.

What are they trying to distract us from? Failed economic policies they've championed for more than 4 years now that have resulted to 50 naira CBN deducts from every POS transaction, border closures, increased VAT, etc.

Nigerians be wise, forget about tribalism for now let's focus on our economy that has been destroyed.

And you have been paying the consequences since then so what did you achieve brother rather than empty chest-beating?
which consequence?the north still retains the region with highest out of school children.what can be worse than this punishment?
the north is the Pakistan and Afghanistan of Africa, what can be worse than that.
a local government in the south can produce 500 engrs but the whole of katsina can't give Nigeria 1000 engrs.
now in case you don't know, this is a source of concern.
in an average private firm, southerners are employed as skilled workers while northerners are employed as unskilled workers.
its only in government institutions that the northerners are at the head and consequently the government institutions are in dysfunction.
the north is the biggest loser.
the more the north rules on behalf of the British, the more the northern masses are impoverished in order to sustain the system.
the northern masses are destined for electioneering.
they are destined to be poor so that they would do the bidding of politicians.
they are intentionally denied education so that they won't have future.
guy i don't envy the north because the political dominance came at a heavy price.
just to take care of this British atm

The anti Igbo in the name Junaid, is rooting Yorubas to become PRESIDENT come 2023 simply because YORUBAS are known be two edges knife right from time immemorial..

Secondly, they will always be a stooge and rubber stamps as they have always been...

Lastly, They YORUBAS are cowards by nature. So bequeathing Presidency to them is as good as a Northerner is on the SADDLE...

Young man is very easy just keep calm, shut your mouth and rest.

That's all.

To be honest, that candid is speaking the truth. I think the Igbos have really lost politically no thanks to the antics of Nnamdi Kanu who destroyed whatever political gains Igbos must have built since 1999 and unfavorably resulting in anti-Igbo sentiments

What has Yoruba/Fulani done in our 20 years of Democracy that Igbo cannot do? I support Igbo Presidency because of the zoning. I don't believe in zoning but, If truly we are zoning, Igbo should be our next President. If we zone to S/E, they won't give us Peter Obi, Charles Soludo or Kingsley Moghalu. The Political Parties will go for their worst like Kalu, Okorocha, etc. So, no difference for a common man.

Proxy in the sense of partners who will include them and not relegate them as everyone fear Igbos capable of doing. It will be an SW Presidency but the point is that that North can sleep easy knowing they will not be discriminated against or at the end of unfavourable policies that may be punitive for the North and good for others. They feel the SW will carry them along better than the SE for sure. Unfortunately, Igbos are responsible for how the North perceives them.

Bro, Igbos never want to hear the truth and this is why their political stock keep plummeting daily while they continue to think they are in a position to make demands no one wants to entertain. SW feel it is their turn and the North, as Mohammed points out, will not support the SE. This is because the North, for many years, has been at the end of insults and derision from the Igbo. The SS may support Igbos but they cannot get them the Party ticket of PDP or APC. VP is best Igbos can get and that would be with PDP.

AS FOR YORUBA, WE WILL ONLY QUIETLY WATCH YOU PROSTITUTE YOURSELVES SHAMELESSLY TO THE NORTH, BUT 2023, NOTHING FOR YORUBA.

THE NORTH IS WELL POSITIONED TO CONTINUE.
