Cristiano Ronaldo has just scored his 700th career goal while on international duty with Portugal, MySportDab reports.

Ronaldo was on 699 as his Portugal side travelled to Ukraine in their Euro 2020 qualifier.

Portugal went into the tie five points behind their opponents in Group B with a game in hand.

But Ronaldo ensured this night was all about him.

Ukraine may have been 2-0 up but Ronaldo made no mistake from the penalty spot to score his 700th goal.

After scoring his 700th goal of his career, Ronaldo shared his thoughts on his Instagram.

He wrote, "Proud to score the 700th goal of my career. I would like to share this moment with all those people who helped me reach this mark.

"Today we didn't get the result we wanted but together we will qualify for Euro 2020." watch the video..
