My guy, he is making a lot of sense but d truth is always bitter. I am from south west. When our people are there, they messed up. They only provided for their family alone. I don't blame d Nort because they always help themselves. That is y they are in power. When my people were there, wht benefit did we gain fro them. Saraki was the senate president, he did below zero. It was his wife that was selling job slot to people. Nonsense

Your opinion is based on a logical fallacy often called whataboutism or whataboutery which makes an individual thinks there is moral justification for a crime being committed simply because someone else committed the same crime in the past.
I will give you two examples of what I'm talking about just in case you don't understand what I meant by the above.

E.g:

1... a conversation between two students, Musa and John.


Musa: John, stop cheating, examination malpractice is a punishable offense.

John: Didn't I saw you cheating when we wrote mathematics exam on Monday?

Now ask yourself, does the fact that John previously caught Musa cheating make examination malpractice morally right?


2... Conversation between Jonathan and Buhari
Jonathan: Buhari, stop looting Nigeria's money because looting is corruption and corruption is a punishable offense.

Buhari: laughs in swahili and tells Jonathan, didn't you also looted Nigeria's money while you were the president?
Ask yourself again, does the fact that Jonathan also looted Nigeria's money morally justify looting?

Simply put, this ideology of yours is simply a wrong strategy called false moral equivalence mainly used as a defensive strategy by offenders.

I don't know why we Nigerians have become so accustomed to the wrong things to the extent we now see those wrong things as the right thing.

To be candid, we all want a better Nigeria, but it's obvious that some set of people have plans and plan for their region. In as much as morality comes into this, it's also sacrosanct to face the reality especially we youths. We have failed to hold our leaders responsible, they sold ethnic bigotry to us, we adopted it and here we are calling for their heads. Who then is the hypocrite.?

If all would say the truth, who amongst us would get such an offer and speak up against such back recruitment or reject it.? I am bold to say, only 1 out of 1M will try such in the present generation. It is only online you call spade a spade but in reality, baba God don pick your call.

Believe me, if we fail to unite and stand firm, do what we say, hold our leaders responsible, and fight for a better Nigeria, there is no way forward or a bright future. The Northerners are reading Nigeria's future, they are planning towards it. Go to any parastatal in Abj, they have the highest number of workers. If you need a FG job, learn how to speak hausa fluently or have a close hausa friend that is ready to assist. It would not be too long before you secure a job. We Southerners rarely help ourselves, we so much believe in wealth and show off.

They (Northerners) say they would rule Nigeria for the next 100yrs,do you think it's a fluke? NO. They are speaking the truth. If we want leadership, we must beg them. They have the highest number in every force, they are the most populous, and they understand Nigeria's politics than any other region.

Let's stop lying to ourselves and face the reality. We are all hypocrites.

We can't deny the fact that favouritism and nepotism is a norm in Nigeria but that does not validate the Senate's president decision. It's man know man thing even if they are not qualified..
