The Child’s Rights Law 2007 of Lagos State, states that a child is a person under the age of eighteen (18) years.
Because children, especially the girl child is a weak member of the society, the Law has been given sharp teeth to protect her.

But civil society can stand with the Girl Child to say No to sexual exploitation of children, which is a clear and present danger. Who is Civil Society? You and I.

The United Nations theme for this year's day if the girl child was , “GirlForce: Unscripted and unstoppable”. We should ensure that our society is made safe for the Girl Child and indeed for All Children.
