most of you can never think anything through for the long run.
your sim is registered in your name, not so?
when you are constantly changing jobs or company name, you are reducing the opportunities available to you

it is like undocumented work in the US . you may feel smart at the time, but the end result is gaps in your CV that you cannot explain.

so you continue misbehaving up and dan and reregistering with uber.

even if they dont catch you, you will forever be an entry level low end driver.

nigger behavior. think about long term
You're just contradicting yourself or you just don't get the point at all? I say it's easy for you riders to have multiple rider's account so it doesn't matter if you misbehave and Uber blocks you. Which one now is entry level low end driver, Dem tell you say promotion dey Uber job? cheesy

Bad? Yes
Very bad? Depends on your definition

So far, the places I know that are very bad are 4th Avenue, 7th Avenue, parts of 23 road, 21 road and 51 road, parts of Ist avenue, and few others. Their major roads are not bad

And from his complain, the route to Festac is good. From Cele-2nd rainbow-Apple junction to Festac is okay.

Only the driver knows why he brought up the issue of offline for that route sha. Maybe I don't know anything
Do you know his exact destination? How are you certain it's not one of the areas you mentioned above? Only he and the driver know

the charge has already been reversed.
my anger is at employees and partners trying to defraud employers/partners

you are all complaining about uber, low returns, bad roads etc, as a justification for cheating uber
so if uber decides nigeria is not profitable and leaves, who loses?

you or them?

this is EXACTLY how nigerians [yes izzou, nigerians] destroy companies. they will all shout government, governors, but most of them are all scheming on how to cheat their employers into oblivion. they will tell you it is because they are hungry or some other story
If the fares are normal no driver would think of offline trips. Drivers are already being cheated by these ridiculously low fares forced down their throats. If you want to talk about being fair then you should suggest to Uber to hands off price decisions and focus on taking their commission from whatever price the driver charges riders.

if you cannot cope with uber, get yellow cab
who knows what nonsense you would have gotten up to as an employee

i worked in a downstream major. I was just thinking about some station managers who had been promoted to station dealers. several of them have been sacked. because they were all adjusting pump like there was no tomorrow, spoiling the brand of the company for their own gains. these fellows had been employees of dealers, and they had been elevated to become dealers themselves. a little self discpline, a little patience - but no they immediately went all out on a pump adjusting spree.

my point - there are always excuses. guess what - everyone knows where shoe dey pinch. you do not want to manage, you do not want to live within your means. you will rather complain about your employer and look for how to cheat him.
it is also the same way we kept hearing of managers robbing the dealers blind. dealer will be disturbing you - i am not making returns, meanwhile it is the useless manager doing sharp practices. stealing millions from their oga.

The kind of insults one receives daily on this job ehn!
But uve developed a thick skin tho.

I got a request today at agungi, immediately she called she already sounded rude. And then she said her 2 housemates are following me to go pick her children at school and I bring them back. I said okay..

On our way back , this woman called me that can I buy a tuber of yam for her on the way, that she'll reimburse me my money when we come back..

I just jejely handed over 5h to one of the girls and she went to buy yam.
This woman called back and started raking/shouting for me, that she nva sent her houseful, that it's me.

I told her i cant buy yam, I don't know where they sell yams. She dropped the call on me Nd hissed.

After the trip, the woman gave me a 1start just because undid not buy a tuber of yam for her.

I'm just weak
..
Looks like there are drivers out there that do this type of stuff, that's why she had the courage to even ask. I once got a request somewhere around Lekki, went to pick up the rider, lo and behold, she came out with food to be delivered to someone in Lagos Island. I hesitated a bit, then accepted to do it, knowing that driving an immovable object is still better than having a difficult rider. Getting to my destination, I called the woman that was supposed to pick up the food, she asked me to bring the food to the third floor of the building. Instantly, I became furious and told her to come get the food immediately or I will drop it on the road and move. She stupidly said "let me even come and see who's doing shakara for me" lol, before coming out to pick up her food. What I'm saying in essence is that Drivers on ehailing should not always fall cheap and get intimidated by any rider. If a request is out of the scope of your job (pick up, drop off), do not accept. In my office where I work, I do not accept jobs outside of my schedule, why should I do it for a dumb rider I don't know from Adam? Except when a rider is disabled, in difficulty or genuinely needs help. Anything outside of that will amount to bringing this hustle to a great deal of disrepute.

How much worth of repairs does your car need?
catalytic converter, front linkages, lower arm bushings, tie rod end, stabilizer bar bushings, front brake pads.the estimate is roughly about # 210k or thereabout, if it's OEM,which came highly recommended and personally preferable.

ive done tunings by myself, like injector nozzle servicing, Injector mouth, brand new spark plugs, new air filter, etc
thanks for the concern bro,God bless

Alas in an environment not so in line with common practice. Common practice would dictate verifiable addresses where people can be found. Common practice would dictate some system where someone's creditworthiness could be assessed. Common practice would have laws in place for recourse.

The reaction was based on experience and was supposed to elicit a smile about the country we find ourselves. While I certainly empathize, my reaction stands.
in as much as I align with your explanations, the prerequisites which I offered were overlooked.my credit worthiness can be found in them.presently,my pension savings is over #2million ,and it's married to my oracle no. I've only spent 20years of my 35 years career,so there's no running away I just happened to be in a financial quagmire which is inevitable. you expect me to smile when your response seem more of a mockery than comic relief? now that's funny.i understand your fears as I can only vouch for myself.
wishing you success in the business ma'am.Nigeria will be great in our generation cool

How does one report irresponsible drivers? This driver started saying we should go off Uber because he claimed the road is bad.
What the driver did was certainly not right, but the way you are going about this, the know it all attitude does not speak well of you as a human being. You strike me as one difficult rider I do not want to meet. While you go about this, bear in mind that the uber thing is a source of livelihood for a lot of folk out there. Don't come with the pretence of being self righteous to knock other people's hustle.

how about you act with integrity

if you drive into a petrol station and you are cheated, will you say the attendant is a struggling guy and so you should let it go?
when you are harassedd by police, do you say the policeman has 10 children at home and so what he is doing is justified?

most of you will whine and cry about this country, about politicians, about police, but in the end you are no different from them

i have a 4.76 rating. i enter the car and sleep till we reach the location. i will however have a problem with a smart alec who thinks he can cheat me.

you strike me as an aspring thief waiting for his own opportunity to hammer. typical nigerian.

challenging and calling out people for trying to steal from you is being righteous.

uber and all of them should leave jare. i will simply go back to kabu kabu, and you will go back to being hungry - and justifiably so. since all you can do with an opportunity is abuse it. you are the type of punk who will steal oga's petrol, madam's jewellery, bomboys coke. after all, you are hungry and therefore you deserve it.

i suggest you read everything i wrote. i take uber rides three to four times a week . all return to festac. it is only once someone has said i can't go to festac.

it is actually interesting as this is a glimpse into the mind of the average nigerian. Perpetual justification for wrong doing. you may as well be a mechanic or housemaid defending stealing from your boss.
