I believe you meant throttle body. What was the result after cleaning? When they scanned it, which code did they get? Its likely your IAC valve is clogged.

After cleaning, the engine doesn't vibrate again, and the check engine light is cleared. But immediately after passing a dusty area, the check engine light comes up again, and few days after the engine starts to vibrate. I don't know the code, I wasn't there during scan.

My brother has Volkswagen Passat 2002 which is in Lagos, at the moment the car has gear issue and has been packed for over a year.

I want to get it fixed and possibly sell off.

He is not in Lagos at the moment neither am I.

Oga Gazzuzz my 2001 Lexus Rx 300 gear box is malfunctioning. when I start and put it in drive(mostly in the mornings) and depress the throttle it wouldn't respond, until I reverse a little bit then put it back in drive then it responds.. If it is parked in a slope and allowed to roll down a bit it will respond as well... How do i fix this? Should I replace the gear box?

The gear selects well while on motion.

My Camry has this drama it does sometimes. Lets say I drive with AC, music or lights for long, once I park the car somewhere and turn it off, coming back to it a few minutes later, it wont start.

Unless u bring another battery. I bought an extra battery thinking it was battery ish yet it didnt work.

Someone said I should change alternator as my battery isnt charging. It happened again today. Both batteries couldnt start the car. I borrowed from another driver and it didnt start still until we waited a while.

Meanwhile my own batteries started his own car. What could cause this?

My Toyota Camry 2002 is confusing my world, if I drive with the AC on for a while and then stop and park, when I come back to start the car, it won't start, I will have to wait for a while before it will start, sometimes I will jump start it with another battery and it starts, some other time when I jump start it, it wouldn't start, please I need a solution, please � and also when it's sunny the AC won't be cold but when the weather is cold the AC will be ICe cold, could it be the AC compressor? Please I need help. Thanks.

Have you checked the following

1. Transmission oil (should be bright pink)

2. Scanned transmission (there should be no transmission related codes)

3. Checked gear leaver

4. appeased your village People?

Try this, when you start car, hold rpm at about 2k rpm for 30secs before placing in drive. If it works without any issues, then gearbox is on its last lap.

I kindly need your help with my Toyota Camry 03 power steering. For like 4 days, the steering has been so hard to control when turning and making corners and all.

Mechanic said, it is the Power Steering Pump. That I need to change it ASAP. Which I DID, but there’s no difference at all. Still facing the same Issue.
