Ozzz:
Hi guys, I got email notification today from CIC, so I thought it's the regular blank mail meaning there is an update, I rushed to check the account no updates still, went back to open the CIC email, it was basically saying there has been no updates since I last logged into the account and thanks for my patience.....
submitted sept 17th
Biometrics sept 23rd
CIC mail Oct 17th
No other update
The date for travel is nextweek

Guys, what are your thoughts on this, any experience of this sort before?
I guess they just started reviewing your application.

I was given a tracking number yes and I called their helpline this morning then the lady tracked it said my passport was still at the Canadian embassy but I’m still tempted to go to the VAC to check. I’m confused lol
NothingDoMe:
Yes you can go there. Did they gave you the tracking number for your passport when you submitted it?

Good day House,
I have an Express entry account but yet to get ITA. I wish to apply for a TRV.
Do I use the same GcKey account or generate a new one for this application?

Please house, is there anything like non appearance visa for Canada application..

An agent that I contacted for assistance in getting a visa told me that he will apply for a non appearance visa for me. I am a first timer and I am been careful not to be duped.

Guys, i raised a case last week and yesterday an email was sent saying my enquirer has been sent to my visa office which is LONDON! I’m just a bit anxious, I have never heard of a visit visa application being sent to London. Does anyone have an idea of anyone who had his or her visa sent to london or treated there? Also, what are their processing times? And what are the chances of applications sent to London? Please help

I intend to apply for Canada visa and go with my wife and 2 kids... I guess that's on a family visa package and something like resident ...

I've been to Kenya and Dubai only on tourism while my wife and kids haven't travelled out yet ...

I have landed properties, business which can be operated from Canada, good inflow, balance of just a little over 2M...

What are my chances ?

What docs will I need to provide?

Should I use an agent ?

Errrm, am not sure of your intent.
You said resident.......
I have a business wch can be operated from canada.........
Sorry, no one here would give you info on how to abuse the system and deceive the canadians,..guess you should try an agent, as you are already thinking....

On the other hand, Lemme disregard that and assume its a standard tourist visa.
2m naira you have is grossly insufficient for 4 persons expenses for holidays, factoring in flights, accomodation .feeding etc...unless you have high turnover in your account. Have u chked flight costs??.

Lemme stop here, till you make your intent clear

The 2m isnt the travelling expense... it's just stated as untouched money that I always have sitting and can be used as BTA... all traveling expenses will be covered separately .

And "abuse the system"? What do you mean by that?

Do you mean people operating online businesses are abusing systems?

So a freelancer, import logistics agent, or so many other online means of earning money are abusing the system ?

Please clarify
