Me I have three Google accounts on my phone. Then coupled with two work accounts, MI account, yahoo mail account, WhatsApp (which backs up every night), etc and a host of apps that are battery guzzlers.
Maybe one day I can get 12 hours SOT.

What are you doing in SMS settings, no one sent you there, read again and follow the steps, you where directed to settings not SMS settings

You did it wrongly, it's PERMISSIONS - PERMISSIONS - SMS. not permissions - other permissions.

Then it's not available for your current rom, check it anytime you update your phone again.
