That's that stadium that looks like a giant vulva from the top.

Painting the road blue doesn't really lower the temperature. It only gives an illusion of cool temperature. The eyes see the blue and the human psyche is tricked into believing it is cool. This sends an impulse to the brain and to the other parts of the body that it is actually cool. Then the whole organism is tricked into feeling cool.

If that is what it will take. Population is a question about PEOPLE and not NUMBER.

We should cut down on our birth rate. The Country's economic indicators are not good to support the country's population.

The world listens and mourns when one person dies in Europe or America but moves on when thousands dies in Africa, meaning no consideration is given to human in Africa.

We don't have to cut down our population, we should invest in education, power supply, etc...so that we don;t have to rely on oil too much.

Qatar can afford all that because they have far less population than we do, while they produce two thirds of what we produce.

The problem is, every year, we vote for APC and PDP....two parties that exist for sharing money. Even those outside want to share money. Very few people want to invest in industrial production for export. That is why we are broke...and that is why Qatar is going to be broke if oil collapses.

Religion Religion! Religion!! Religion!!! Has done us more harm than good. Why its best to be non- religious and serve God truly. Than lip service.

Qatar population : 2.4million people.
Qatar oil production: 1.6million barrels of crude oil per day

Nigeria population: 200million. people.
Nigeria oil production: 2.2million barrels of crude oil per day.

If you want Nigeria to look like Qatar, that means that you would have to deprive 195million Nigerians of their citizenship., and share the oil money among the 5million remaining.

Modified

The above point means in essence that Nigeria must become like China, Japan, Singapore, Germany, and stop arguing over who shares which money, religion, tribe, etc....to become even more prosperous than Qatar.

If you are reading this and thinking I am excusing past and present governments, sorry, you do not get the point.

If the average Nigerian had your aptitude Nigeria would have been better than Qatar.

Thank you, but the point I am trying to make is that Nigeria has to move on from just exporting raw materials to becoming an industrial nation.

If we did that, we would be as rich as China.

Unfortunately, APC and PDP are just there to share money. Not to change things. And sadly, many Nigerians think like that.

And you missed the point.

You people think I am defending the government, eh?

OK....Qatar is able to afford all those nice stuff because it produces 2//3RD of the oil that Nigeria has, and has less than one-tenth of our populaiton.

Which means, Nigeria has to change its economic strategy...by becoming an industrial nation, which means that we have to change our leaders.

And by the way, if oil becomes useless....Qatar would be broke.

Sorry, you missed my point.

you are wrong ....Qatar will not go broke ...go and check their sovereign wealth fund ...it is quite large and profitable
and don't forget the indigene population no reach 500k outsider serving dem be the remainder

The source of that soverign wealth fund is oil.

If oil becomes useless...they can only depend on that soverign wealth fund for a few years, and then what next?

Me, I prefer Qatar and Nigeria become industrial and scientific nations...not sell oil, and import stuff.

I totally understand you but it goes beyond government.

Government is a microcosm of the collective and they aren't aliens but full bred citizens.

Nigerians in general should adopt logic and probably drop religion and spirituality.

I don't believe so. China has about a billion people. The statistics are there to show that our resources and abilities can conveniently take care of 200m Nigerians. Mismanagement and corruption is the evil here, not population.

In China it's population matches its level of productivity. Down here in Nigeria the reverse is the case. Our production capacity as a country is very low. Had it been we have a robust manufacturing sector, it would have helped to curb the rate of unemployment. So given that our productive base is abysmal the need for birth control has become very imperative.

I doubt dat Qatar gdp per capita is first or second in the world....if oil go away the road won't ....the skyscraper won't ...the petrochemical industry won't the aluminum smelting sector won't ....the raw dollar dey are having will still take dem for over 10 years .....dis ppl are just technically don't have wat to use money to do again

wen I was in uae wat I notice is dat even the tourism industry dey are developing is just for fun .....excess wealth you hardly see dem in the afternoon talk less of working

Their SWF is invested in Uber, Ebay, etc.

Being broke would take mismanagement and illogical reasoning of Nigerian proportions to take place.

After reading this book i now had insight why Nigeria isn't working. With our overtly extractive political institution and extractive economic system it will be pretty difficult for our country to find its feet. kindly find this book and read. you will be glad you did.

It is because these people fear God or what?
Cos I don't understand why my own country is backwards...
God, ehn abeg na..

They have ample resources to do such.

Small population, not one that doubles every 20 years.

There is enough to pilfer and then engage in impressive feats such as this.

You should ask why they never engaged in such in the last century...
