All Nigerian leaders from President to Governor to LGA Chairmen are all shameless fools!! Go to Lagos, no road in most areas. Go to Ogun state, the same! Go to Edo, its an eyesore! What about Abia state ![]() Visit Osun state, the road leading from Ife to Ilesa is a death trap! Shame on all Nigerian leaders, they all deserve to be rounded up and shot sporadically like common criminals they are. I wonder why white folks haven't returned with bombs to take over West Africa because it is a danger to their peaceful existence in their countries as Africans abandon their dilapidated countries to flood America, Europe, Asia, Middle-East instead of staying back in their failed nations to confront their useless leaders to fix their nations! ![]()

[quote author=Champele post=83284532]My guess is this; Tonye went to Imo with his PeopleDestroyPeople cartel for burial of a member. After the burial, Emeka invite them for dinner. After the dinner, Emeka did what is normal for them 'share the money' policy. After the policy, his boys secured a good room in one of the numerous 3star hotels attracted by Rochas infrastructure regime for Tonye, With some IMSU runs girl's to service him. The next morning, Tonye felt like he just went to heaven and come back. Now, like lion approaching a goat, with his phone he need to do the needful. Your guess is as good as mine. We know how they run their game. Next time Tonye, show some pictures. You can go into some dirty street and pretend it is world Bank or Douglas road. Olodo . Sincerely i usually don't do this but if rochas was a good governor to you. I pray u experience rochas blessing in all your endeavours. But if he was bad and you decided to turn a blind eye. May your life look like the current state of imo state. |

Caleb17:Unfortunately Owerri-Okigwe is a federal road and Enugu-Onitsha isn't better than it. Rochas did well as Governor but PDP relied on early destruction to rubbish his image which has already backfired here in Imo State. Everyone wants Ihedioha out immediately and Imo restored to how it was as at May 29th. We know and have experienced the difference and as we write the level of filth in Owerri and basically every urban area in the State has reached a shameful height to an extent that even PDP members like Uche Ogbuagu have started turning against Governor Ihedioha. A clear example is this Orji market. Anyone who visits there today like the poster won't know how it was when Okorocha handed over but at least these pictures speak volumes. We miss Rochas hooha!

From time Imo and Abia seem to have cursed leaders. Enugu, Ebonyi and Anambra with less FAC allocation have world class roads These two, cursed with terrible leaders upon leaders have terrible infrastructures. Imo as a whole has failed and should summarily be annexed to Anambra state while Abia should be annexed to Enugu Problem solved |

Champele:bros this is not time for politics, truth ought to be told period, roads in Imo state are as bad as anything,if u come to imo state you will cry for the state. |
| Re: State Of Imo State: The Bad, The Worse And The Hope (My Personal Experience) by Imo1stson: 7:54pm On Oct 19, 2019 |
manontree:Stop writing thrash. Under Rochas Imo became the fastest developing State in Nigeria and the fastest growing IGR in the East so we had one if the best leaders in Nigeria. Ihedioha will definitely be removed if not by the court then mass action except he retraces his steps and starts fast rebuilding of everything he destroyed. Remember how his recovery chairman was almost burnt to death by angry youths. Imo isn't so bad presently as painted by the OP but we've lost the momentum of development experienced when Rochas was there. A visit to Imo State thread will prove the slowdown.

Sunnick:No road can last when half of it is covered with heaps of refuse and flooded because the drainage has been blocked. Looking at the 2 pictures you need not look for why the road has gone bad.

| Re: State Of Imo State: The Bad, The Worse And The Hope (My Personal Experience) by Abagworo(m): 8:23pm On Oct 19, 2019 |
Sunnick:Okorocha started work from 2011 and most of these roads have lasted till this year so there's no case of inferior anything. Everything that spoilt during his tenure including natural disaster were made headline here on Nairaland so I doubt any negative news of Okorocha is hidden. Based on personal experience Imo is not as bad as other States presently and the issue of road is a national emergency. Right here in Port-Harcourt the East-West road has been cut off at Nkpolu for close to 8 months and also cut off at Adamark further down heading to Eleme junction. You cannot travel from Port-Harcourt to Obigbo which is just a 5km distance because of the poor State of Aba road etc. I also know it's same across Nigeria and not limited to Imo State, Anambra, Abia, Ogun, Rivers, Enugu or Kogi. |

TonyeBarcanista:That's really the true facts on ground I personally visited owerri two months ago and couldn't believe my eyes the whole town just looks like an abandoned town bad roads and useless meaningless structures everywhere. Rochas was a monumental failure he is not even fit to lead a local govt area pmb is 100% far better than him. |

Thank you very much for this eye witness account. Some of us have been singing it for months but some people will stay far away from the state and yet argue with us. Rochas is the greediest and most wicked governor. I believe he will get his comeuppance soon. |

I asked myself this morning if Rochas can't return the money he wasted for 8 years. If anyone wants pictures, ask, and I will snap and show you. If EFCC is effective, they should arrest that guy. Osibanjo commissioned flyover in Owerri. Can any media house go and inspect that flyover and show to the world. I don't know where to start from. He just spent 8 years looting and at the end he rigged himself to the retirement home. Our leaders are so wicked. Imolites and well meaning Nigerians should join hands with Ihedioha and the recovery team to rescue Imo state. |

Abagworo:You are a confirmed idiot. By your statement, there shouldn't be signs of roads built by OBJ. Your affirmation means that a particular road should be awarded every year |

Instead of you to face your pay per post in defending the indefensible but you must find a way to smuggle Anambra into your nuisance and hopelessness. Cursed hopeless old man, are you not ashamed that you are the only one with your Imo1stson account defending failure called okoroawusa in the whole of NL. Every other person must be lying except you miserable vagabond. Even the people that confirmed everything after their visit are all lying. Useless miscreant, keep deceiving only yourself.
