Sure by standard of living and purchasing power Morocco is ahead but in terms of economic size and strength, cultural influence etc Nigeria is. The only reason Nigeria doesn't get as many tourists as Morocco is because of saftey issues and a lack of infrastructure. The electricity, water road etc is the fault of shit leaders and us who elect them. We have oil, Morocco has none yet they can do electricity, industry, etc and we can't manage even one. Nigeria makes me cry

Yea, Morocco has strong economy far ahead of that of Nigeria. Morocco bid and host many international events. Nigeria is richly poor. Our wealth goes to the pockets of elite politicians. That is not wealth. That is riches in poverty since our minimum wage is poor. This made our purchasing power very weak. One of the weakest in the world.

That's true. If Ghana did not redenominate their currency, GHC10,000 in 2007 for don reach for GHC70,000 today. Meaning 1 cedi would have been equivalent of 70,000 cedis.

People travel to Ghana because it easier. They just want your money for poor education just like in Benin Republic and Togo.

Our health sector may be in disarray, but Ghana is not an alternative.

This is ghana's reality. The almighty America has upto 100 dollar note but ghana and Ghanaians want to feel like humans they've never been before and decided to have gh50 and their highest note.. now, 100 dollar note in Ghana as of today is gh550.00..

You are a liar. I will upload some pics here of some of your roads in Accra. Ghanaians are suffering. They just cover up the cracks.

Please, anyone who can go to Ghana and spend some time there should do so. Then come back to compare and contrast.

I have been to five countries.. I can't be proud of a country where sound of generator is louder than research institutes. U are the funniest human being I have ever seen. Saying reality means low sef esteem and our people are scattered all over the world due to poor infrastructure to work with. Your type is the reason our leaders messing us up.
Your diction and comprehension says it all.
Do they make use of generators in the United States? Do you know the cost of utilities and housing in the United States? Are there homeless Americans? Do you know the cost of higher education in the United States? Do you know that some teenagers join the United States Army not voluntarily but because they cannot afford the cost of higher education? Do you know the cost of the United States health insurance? You are just as clueless as the Ghanaians!
I just wish people like you are born in South Sudan or Somalia. Ungrateful idiots!
Lastly, tell me the countries you have been to?

A country that removed scores of 000s from their currency to make it look good! Lol!

@ bolded you just made my point. If things were better here, Nigerians would not have been traveling to these countries in search of a better life.

Recently on Facebook, I saw a video made by a concerned Nigerian about the plight of a school in Kogi State. Students from Primary 1-6 were taught in sheds by just 2 teachers. That is the same state where the governor is currently campaigning for a second term by buying a string of jeeps and branding them with his campaign materials.

Is that not a case of misplaced priorities?

This is why we are where we are today.

Charity they say begins at home.

Once upon a time we had Nigeria Airways. Now in Africa everyone knows about Ethiopian Airlines.

Everyone is aware of the giant strides of development in Rwanda.

We here are still in siddon look mode. Youwin which was providing much needed loans to budding entrepreneurs was culled.

Minimum wage was raised but paying the minimum wage has created more problems as now we are hearing of more taxes instead of eliminating double taxation and paying more attention to efficiency in tax collection.

come to Ghana and see hunger with your own eyes.. their girls as young as 10 are getting pregnancy in an industrial scale due to hunger.. in cape coast, the effect of hunger is so much that a girl can give you her body so long as you give her one cedi to buy kenkey

you are very correct and this is one of the reasons they prefer Nigerian guys to their fellow ghanaian men. A ghanaian man cannot afford to give out 1 pesewa but a Nigerian can afford to give out 2000 cedis to assist a ghanaian whose life is in a mess and they are many.

Easier means easier to get in.
It is easier to enter a shitty Ghanian school that wants your money, as opposed to competing with 3 million Nigerian students sitting for jamb along with you.
It is the same mentality that drives some Nigerians to Benin republic, Togo or even Gabon.
All Shityy countries with shitty schools that wants your money for a cheap degree.

The rest of your story is irrelevant since you missed the point I was making.

Very apt, their currency is so useless and continues to depreciate .
Virtually everything is so expensive and not as if their disposable income is higher than that of Nigeria.
Naira from 120 to 360(about 3times depreciation) to a dollar and cedis from 0.92 to 5.48(about 6times depreciation) to a dollar and they feel they are making progress better than Nigeria.
Nigeria could decide to remove 2 zeros from the naira and an American dollar becomes 3 naira 60 kobo today.
The South Korean won is over 1,200 to a dollar and the Japanese yen over 120, I guess Ghanaians in the house can explain how their economy is better than than those of Japan and South Korea
