1. Chinese rom comes carton sealed, but doesnt have playstore or Gapps installed (u have to do that urself). It has just English & Chinese as the available language

2. Global version comes carton sealed. It is also called international version. It has Playstore & Gapps installed. It has several language option

3. Global Rom - When a Global version rom is flashed on a phone that has Chinese rom, it is called global rom. It doesnt come carton sealed, except the seller decides to reseal it.
And Chinese ROM has a lot of missing LTE BANDS

Holla. Good morning Xiaomites... There is something I am not understanding... Tried to access https://us.i.mi.com/#/ and tried to locate my RN7 on it, it was saying no device was found. Tried to use "find my device" feature on the site after logging it with my email, but e o see my device.
Tried to use the "find device" in phone settings and tried "secure device" my phone got locked and ditn get an option to unlock it (maybe unlock with email or password or something). The screen was unresponsive. Tried a reboot and even power off and power one, the phone ei work briefly for 10secs after I enter my sim pin and unlocked the phone, before it gets secured again. Had to launch the site on my other phone and clicked on "delete device" during which I got a warning my mi account will be looged off on the device, before I was able to gain control back... Question is.. Pls can anyone enlight me on what I didn't do right?
Presently, it is stil telling me no device found when I tried "find device", mainwhile I logged in with my mi account and find device is active on the phone
Are you sure you typed the address correctly?

Have u guys notice any bug in the new miui 11 update. One hand mode (setting) does not work again. Infact the setting icon does not work when you activate the one hand mode.

Gracias. Experience with meditatek, u most likely won't enjoy your phone after an upgrade if you don't do a factory reset immediately

Wow that's news to me.. tbh I haven't ever used one before... And I've never had to factory reset a device unless to sell out or give to my younger ones

Guys! No point in moving to IPHONE except for some extra features on some particular apps.

iPhone wey I think say no go hang ... still hang small.

But the battery is strong.

Well, ain’t selling my xiaomi again

Easier for them to optimise their os since they are technically developing everything in house so everything is built to specs..

i used from iphone 6 to 7plus and i weep for the isheeps. the 7plus was no match for my redmi note 4x in handling tasks. when i sold it off, i was expecting the buyer to complain, no complain whatsoever, they are used to a laggy phone

Good evening everyone... Anytime I search network on my max 2 of recent... It'll show Glo 4g but anytime I insert Glo 4g sim.. It'll be just 3g... Glo customer care called me themselve yesterday telling me my phone is 4g enabled with glo 4g in my area... But I've never been able to get any 4g with the 4g sim...

Information is indeed power. It's great to ask questions. I could bet my RN7 never had the option until I searched for "mirror". I use gesture (it was clumsy initially, but now I can't do without it... One of the sweetest parts in the rom).
I am so used with the "back" button. At the right side, can't use a device that has it only in the left. Thanks guys, you rock.

You're welcome bro. cheesy

Factory resetting a phone after update is just a faux. I don't even bother whenever I update my phone.

It may probably need a reboot and some patience to have the system re-calibrate itself, that's why people whine about battery shortly after an update rather than taking a chill pill.
