Yes. It also gives the same benefit as ASET in Alberta. Some employes/ jobs would require a CET or Asct designation.

During Harper years (Feb 6, 2006 to November 4, 2015), the immigration number was between 238,130 (in 2007) and 270,580 (2010). This number was much higher than the liberal government of Jean Chretien and Paul Martin (Nov 4, 1993 to Feb 6, 2006) before it. I am not quite sure if what I witnessed yesterday was an election, because it seemed like just a normal day. The country went to work and school, only dashing out for a few minutes to vote! Some schools were even used as polling centres while the pupils and teachers went about their usual business! I appreciate the fact that we blacks have a long way to go and we don't seem to even be in the right direction but we must desist from this attitude of self defamation. It is internalised racism and that is a terrible complex. We're not where we want to be, referring to ourselves (yourself inclusive) as animals will not, in any way, take us there. How can one apply for visa for a skilled worker? What are the steps I should take first and the visa requirements.
Do I need international passport first? Etc. Just help a brother please and like how much is the current visa fee for a skilled worker. I have over 2 years full time experiance. Thanks

It goes to show you how lowly the citizens and individuals are rated. I Love that I'm black but the fact remains that Africa or rather at least Nigeria (where I have personal experience) is only good to be celebrated from afar and not within.

So PPR came July 25th after 9months! *side eye*IRCC but we thank God sha. Booked lufthansa for 15th september (landed 16th sept, my birthday so to say i started this journey on a new note ehn). Journey started from eko ile around 5:30pm with plenty entourage my parents and in laws, traveled with my husband and one infant. Had 5 bags, one hand luggage, backpack, car seat and baby stroller. I thought lufthansa will give hassle with the car seat and stroller cos their site said either or, just wanted to try my luck sha, they actually accepted both. Before i continue, 3days earlier we weighed and reweighed luggage and decided it wont make sense to pay for extra luggage (lufthansa charged CAD$300, smh) so we went to cargo paid about 175k for 141kg and issued receipt for N23K (which way naija?).

This is a question far beyond my level. I don't even blame or direct my anger at the leaders anymore, because they are just a representation of the people. They are not aliens. It would be nice If there was a way bad Nigerians could be purged of everything evil like corruption, dishonesty, wickedness etc. It's no surprise the US or other developed countries come hard on corruption. The US especially will use a sledgehammer to kill a fly when it comes to corruption/dishonest/fraud because it spreads like a plague. The irony of it all is that we are also very religious.

We have also seen several instances on this thread of how people have requested for ways or ideas of gaming the system. What about Nairaland itself? Can discussions on this forum be compared with Reddit or other 1st world countries similar platforms? This platform is just a micro-representation of Nigeria, and we can see how alot of Nigerians reason and comment on the politics and crimes thread. If you say something bad about yahoo or fraud, and Kids or maybe adults on here would swear at you or curse you out for calling out evil in the society. It is also okay to steal money aslong as the person is your kinsmen. Sometimes, you just feel like closing Nairaland's account out of frustration. I won't call people animals or monkeys because it would be wrong to do so, but some people truly exhibit animal behaviours, not just blacks though. Even white people do, but some countries have them in greater numbers than others. lol. May God help Nigeria o.

Nigeria was never created to be work. the west and our leaders are benefiting from the status quo. so nothing would ever change.

I do understand his point of view and I do not justify the use of abuse to describe a human. I'm simply trying to view it from another perspective... the perspective of one who is frustrated... It's like when one says the Super Eagles are Super Chickens because of their dismal results... It's not ideal but sometimes it can't be helped
