That’s a serious country that has let bygones be bygones and has risen dramatically from genocide to nation building.

Back home, all our politicians and civil servants fight for is how to steal billions of dollars from the treasury. What do they know or care about nuclear power?

Extremely dull set of people. The amount alone should elicit another look, but not the wailers. They take everything hook, line and sinker.

Excellent question if Nigeria cannot maintain a common stadium, am not yet talking about our inoperative power plants, beside Nigeria is too poor to the extent of signing a nuclear dear worth 180,billions us dollars.

Kagame Remains A Powerful Ruler Without Power — Electricity Still A Rare Commodity In Rwanda

How does a country in which more than half of its population still in darkness become middle-income?

About 83 % of rural dwellers had no electricity coverage. They represented about 6.9 million people…Rwanda’s investment in the electricity supply is failing to keep up…Consequently, the power system has become increasingly unreliable.

The picture presented by the African Development Bank (AfDB) is not encouraging that the situation will change in the near future. AfDB is one of the major funders to Rwanda’s electricity sector. In its September 2018 appraisal of Rwanda’s energy sector, AfDB gave a rather gloomy view. Nearly 7 million Rwandans who live in rural areas remain essentially in the dark. In other words, more than half of the country’s population don’t have electricity.

The people of Rwanda are expressing their poor electricity realities in Rwanda, but they are lying according to you sitting in your village in Nigeria.

Who do you think I should believe, the people of RWANDA, and their creditor, the African Development Bank (AfDB) or you sitting in your village in Nigeria.?

A country with half of her population without electricity can not be better than you, don't let low self-esteem and ignorance kill you.

Young Man I am Traveller... and I tour African nations.. Tho I have not been to Rwanda, I have heard so much about their Massive development Strides...

This is a Nation that just came out from a huge war Some years ago.. and Witnessing Massive infrastural developments.. and you here wailing!

With the speed of Development going on in Rwanda now in the next 4-5 years, they should be attaining 100% Electricity supplies..

Their Urban areas are are already getting close to that...

When you see an Uncommon African leader, take a Bow!

A very serious lesson learnt about the much hyped Rwanda. Still like their tremendous recovery from the relics of an avoidable war.
But back then, the bragging rights was "My Mercedes is Bigger than Yours" but due to low self esteem it is now "Your Mercedes is Bigger than Mine"

From all your rambling here, you sound like someone with acute low self esteem issues.

You are consistently elevating people you are better than, all in effort to insult your own country. It is very pathetic.

Are you their power minister? Have you taken energy audits in Rwanda and you've mapped out their electricity strategy and awarded contracts for power plants in Rwanda?

From their own government.

I just don't know why these low self-esteem people think they know more about the people of Rwanda than the people of Rwanda and the government of Rwanda.

Hate don do some people serious bodily and mental damage that they make up their own lies and ignorant stories about other countries just to insult and abuse ther own country.

Rwanda is serious about development. They thought about developing their entire country. The Tutsi did not view the Hutus as conquered people neither did Hutis view the Tutusi as such. The sterotypical supremacist views the Tutusi had about themselves compared to Hutus went away after the war. Their leadership did not think of stealing resources from one region to go develop the other regions and ignore the degradation of the lands where the resources they stole came from. Their leaders focused development on all areas of that country. That is how come they are developing, that's why they thrived. It is actually a country that is one. Nigeria isn't.

Even the people and the government of Rwanda won't make the wild and absurd claims you people are making on NL.

Outside the center in Kigali, the rest of the country is underdeveloped and largely rural with no electricity.

You don't know or love Rwanda more than the people of Rwanda, stop making up stories that the people of Rwanda won't even make about their own country.
