That's what is called superficial. If you marry a woman you love who happens to enjoy cleaning, even when she stops cleaning, you would not be considering abandoning the marriage.
The same applies to beauty. If you marry a beautiful woman whom you love, you will still love her when that beauty fades.

Where is the sympathy for Nigerian women? Women that are always blamed for what husbands do wrong even when they get physically assaulted. If he cheats or deserts her she is told to work on herself and pray for the man something nobody will ever tell a husband of a cheating woman. If he maltreats her because she has no job or money she is told to stop being lazy and get a job even though it is extremely difficult for married women with children to get jobs. Nobody will ever tell a husband to learn cooking or cleaning if his wife refuses to do house chores.

That's why some marriages don't last. That is a terrible, selfish and superficial reason to marry for. When you marry someone for a reason, when the person cannot perform in that area, it becomes a problem.

Now his cleaner is not performing and he is complaining. The love is not unconditional or the type that sustains a marriage. It's the type that needs to be fed constantly.

The OP needs to empathize and be considerate instead of nagging and compounding issues. My first few months of pregnancy were difficult. I needed help and hubby was really understanding and helpful.

When my SIL was pregnant I would visit to see her doing chores around the house and they've two small kids now. Find a way to help and try to reduce the quantity of household stuff you keep in the house. If you have items you haven't used in 2-3 years, please dispose.

When you embrace a minimalist setting/design, you're saving yourself at least 50% of workload, time, expenses, and stress.

You don't need 20 plates in your house, you're not a restaurant. You don't need 10 pots. Keep them minimal and save yourself unecessary maintenance and workload.

When the few get old or outdated, dispose all and get new sets. There are clothes you no longer need. Don't keep 10 bedsheets. This is how to run a home. The more empty spaces you have, the lower your stress level.

This post is not necessary. It is wrong to just conclude that everyone would be as suddenly rich as you are or as you expect. I know you should be a teenager with your sense of reasoning. Look, if you think money making is as easy as you imagine, ask your father where he was when Dangote became a billionair. The young man who created this thread mentioned that he is in his early 30s...he just started his career. Do you know his journey so far? He could have been raised from a humble background but he chose to be responsible by getting married in his late 20s. I remember when I made my first million legitimately...so, when I see a young man growing to be successful in life without doing scam, money ritual or all sort of corrupt activities to make money, I respect him. There many 40 years old men who still live with their parents...this guy has tried biko. All he needs is to understand his wife's predicament, manage his home and move on as many knowledgeable people have suggested here. This is not a good time to blame anyone for being poor or lazy.

Why is it so difficult for some men to do simple things that are vital to their survival and well-being all in the name of marriage.
The ability to nourish themselves with food, cooking, is left completely in the hands of the wife, the ability to keep their environment clean, the duty to show care to your babies......

Marriage problems would greatly reduce once it stops being one sided and more of a partnership.

Money, chores, upbringing of the children.... Both husband and wife should contribute.
