The second one is newer model and improved version of the Mega. Nothing like two variants. It is just like the JBL charge 1, 2 series just that they didn't follow that naming scheme

that's what you will see now...

You need a new charger, search for a follow come and try it, mine had the same problem. A follow come charger solved it.

It have a better camera unit.
You can't take Ultra-wide photos with RN7 but you can with RN8.

RN8 houses a better GPU and a better DSP as well.

I think the Mi A3 is better. However it's running stock android and not MIUI that's running on RN7. If you don't mind stock android then go for the Mi A3.

Look at the image below and I already answered this question yesterday.

As for battery life I can't say but a 5200Mah battery should last a while

When you place an order tell them you need a sealed version with Chinese ROM but what do you have against Unlocked bootloader and global ROM?

For a phone that old, the period of fake ROM has long passed
