Good morning yard people, I'm an ardent but silent follower of this trend. I would like the experts in the house to help give clarity on this issue bothering my mind; My CRS score is 412 at the moment, though, I'm doing all I can to boost it. In the interim, I intend to create the Express Entry profile for any possibilities of PNP while I continue working hard on boosting my CRS score. I would like to confirm If I can add my spouse later on after my CRS score as increased before ITA. We plan to get married early next year but I believe my CRS score would have been boosted before then.

A clearer response will be well appreciated.

Thank you.

It’s a good thing that you are thinking of boosting your scores. My advice, if you have your IELTS results and your ECA go ahead and create your profile. As regards adding your ”intending spouse” if you can plan your wedding to come after you have gotten AOR, that would be your best shot as adding spouse after AOR would not affect your score in away. However, in the case were life most go on and you got to do what you got to do, then marry. Plan to get your spouse to write IELTS and do ECA. If the spouse is younger with more chances of getting ITA, the spouse can even create their own profile.
This is my one kobo contribution.

I'm back again my people. After my last post few people here encouged me to go for short course or apply like that even tho I didn't reach the cut off for crs. I decided to check my eligibility under federal skilled workers and I had 68/100, the cut off for that is 67. I have close to four years working experience in my line. Also since it seems like crs will be used at the end of the day I reached 438 on their site.
This is what I got o, I don't know whats up with this at is says here that it will expire by December. I haven't submitted my transcript to WES also.

Evaluate with IQAS to get maximum points and use the NOC with the highest years of experience as long as it is category A, B or 0.
Enter the pool as Separated/Legally Separated.
You can continue with your passport as it is. You can deal with name change later as it it may be time consuming and time is of the essence as regards this journey).
You will need to show that you have full custody of your kids. As the divorce proceedings might take time, the court may have not granted you custody, you'd be needing his consent if that is the case when applying. I don't know if the family court you mentioned will grant you full custody, you can seek them out.

temmiedee7:
I’m so thankful to God and @blissnenye for my IELTS Victory

First attempt (BC) LRWS 8.5,7.5,6.5,7.5
Second attempt (IDP) LRWS 8,8,7, 7.5

My 1st attempt wasn’t successful, so I started looking for ways to better my writing skills, then I got to read about @blissenye and her writing lessons on this platform. At first I was skeptical but I followed my heart and went ahead to book a session with her. If you’re struggling with your writing, please contact this soulful lady. She was so helpful and determined to make me succeed. Her strategy works so well. I also introduced my friend to her and she passed as well 9,7.5,7,8
We are so thankful
On to the NEXT...

@blissnenye, thank you so much once again for helping my friend and I. grin

Yaaaaaaaayyyyyyyssssssssssssssss!

I'm suppppppppper excited!

I've been waiting patiently to mark my first post on this thread with a victory story.

You People!!!!

It's IELTS victory o!

Lol, no vex in case my excitement is too plenty for IELTS as other people are celebrating PPR. cheesy

So I wrote IELTS at first attempt last month.

That is, after several postponements for fear of the money not entering voicemail (75k is not beans o lipsrsealed)
I eventually got the push that last month and immediately paid before I could change my mind.

And then it dawned on me that it was less than a month away!
Oh My Wow!

The spirit of "I've been using English all my life" overcame me in addition to handling plenty other activities all at once.

Speaking test was really fine. The storytelling part was especially fun. I had a Nigerian examiner. At a point, where I wanted to use 'phoné' to confuse myself, she just looked at me in a way that communicated "Just be yourself, better don't phonerize yourself into failure!" grin

I thank God.

Next the LWR tests..

Anytime I remembered that I had exam, I would quickly play the listening videos I had from a dear friend. I looked at the Reading material only once. And then the writing, Oh the writing! I had looked at the Cambridge writing materials a few times and somehow my mind told me that "It's just regular stuff naa". (Brethren, this is the SCAMMEST scam o! Don't fall for it! shocked It's not regular o)
A night before the exam, that's when I decided to crash read the MOD writing practice textbook that my friend gifted me (Brethren, don't do this - it's a recipe for High Blood Pressure cheesy). OMG, it was that night I realized how book is sha! I covered more than half of the book (glossing through in crash reading style). That night ehnnnnn, different thoughts "Why didn't I" "What if I had" "I wish I could"... embarassed

I slept off at about 4am and ended up oversleeping. By the time I woke, it was almost 7am! shocked
Lol I had to wash face, brush my teeth and wore the first available Jean and Top. (Yes, I wrote the exam without bathing! cheesy grin) My Dad to the rescue, he took me to a spot where I found OPay to the venue and I was able to make it there early.

Thank God!

The crowd sha!

A fresh fear came upon me. I was looking at people's faces as if trying to discern how many times they had written the exam and wondering if I'd be coming back again. I'd read of people spending over a million naira on IELTS test fees. Many thoughts rioting "Why didn't I prepare well?"

Eventually, I wrote.

The day before results came out, I was beside myself in anticipation and fear. Alas, the next morning I saw the results. Lo and behold, beautiful result except for the writing. Yes o, that writing shaaaa!!! My Goodness! The 6.5 hit me like "Gboa!"

I was confused to be honest. I talked with my EE Big Sis and her confidence in my matter ehnnnnn. She said I should request for a remark. She was SO SURE! Another friend said I should jejely not waste time with remark and just prepare my mind to rewrite it.

To say I was confused is to say the least. I was disappointed, crushed, confused and afraid, all at once.

I checked my score with 6.5 and with 7.0, Brethren, the gap was wiiiiiiddddddeeee! embarassed

What to do?

I decided to Walk in Faith and pray for a remark to return in my favour.
I chose to remark only Writing even though I've read that it's advisable to tick two modules to ensure the refund. Lol I ghatz focus my prayers well biko, so I chose to remark only writing.

The waiting for EOR sha.... I read almost every material I could find on EOR process.
All the different materials, some sent shivers down my spine, some gave me hope, some confused me. Chai! In fact, that's how I read somewhere that if the difference between your highest score and the least score is more than 2 points, then automatically there's no hope for an increase. I got reaaallly scared. I thank God that proved to be a false claim o.
My mum was scared the scores will even reduce! Lol I had to assure her from what I read here on NL that it wouldn't. But Brethren, in my research upandan online, I stumbled on some sites that said it could reduce o. Choi! See fear!
I sent private messages to Pwinkle1 and Michaelsmadison. Pwinkle1 was so kind and so detailed in her response! God bless you! MichaelMadison was so helpful, and patient with my drama. Lol!

You guys!!!!!!!!

Drum roll!!!

EOR Result is out and God gave me the 0.5 I needed!

I am MAD excited!

I kept praying and my prayer was "0.5" and He gave me exactly what I needed! Gratitude doesn't begin to contain how I feel.

Like, I don't mind the wait of this process o, but you see the thought of rewriting exam? Oh My!

Please, forgive my long post and join me to thank God!

Now, ECA wait begins. cheesy

Good afternoon guys,
I faxed my SoR to wes with an attestation letter i received from school to Wes. I had to request to attestation letter as my statement of result contains grade. Now Wes keep telling me document not received after faxing it to them like twice.

Firstly, is 438 the score you get after getting the short course? Also, you should start your WES application as soon as possible as this is what takes time the most. As for the screenshot, you can ignore that as you'll still create an EE profile when you're ready.

Cheers.
