Yes and if you started blogging because if money . You will surely quit before you even see the money coming . You should have that passion first , thats what keeps you going

Ofcourse there is no good return on easy stuffs..
That why when ever I visit Alibaba, Aliexpress, Jumia or any E-commerce sites, I give credit and respect to who ever is in-charge of the backend.

Blogging is not for olodo but for very intelligent and smart dudes.
Beside its very difficult to combine internet freelancing and regular job in Nigeria. All the employers in Nigeria are slave masters. You're expected to work 200k job for 50k salary.
Hence, for a beginner is going to be very tough to start blogging or manage ecommerce store.

You are right. A lot of them jumping into blogging without proper research. Also when you going blogging with a mindset of making money asap you will get frustrated asap too. Its a journey

I quit blogging because the web designers were always doing a poor job. Once you give them their money, they will just do one yeye thing for you.

The last one was fair but i couldnt type on my page. It was always telling me to purchase the design or something. I contacted the guy and he just kept giving me stories. I just lost interest after that.

I am into blogging, not for the moni but will not mind to monetize it in the Future. I am using for blogger for now , my question are
1. I tried buying google domain but the payment didn't go through. what do I do?
2. is there a domain that accepts Nigeria master card
3. I tried paying for domain on WordPress and my account was banned from purchasing anything on wordpress, what should I do.

If you're buying any account, ensure you collect the original email used in opening the account.

Check for the email that was sent during the initial sign up. Change the password and phone number.

If not they will claim that it was hacked and the customer care will restore it back to them

you don't even need too much design when it comes to blogging. WordPress or can be used without these issues except the person created the blog from scratch.

I blog for a year now. I can only boost of 5$ for my AdSense account. What I understand is that blogging is all about patience. You need to work on seo. The more time go the more you grow. You don't just grow in a year. Google respect older blog. You don't any company to just make you general manager because you have master degree. The more you post relevant post the more you progress

older blog doesn't necessarily mean good blog.

moreover, blogging has gone beyond just posting articles. blogging now involves content people are looking for, traffic strategies and good monetization scheme best suited for the blog.

I love blogging but I started on a wrong note, by buying domain name from. A wrong person because I can't just tag him a scammer yet. He got paid for the domain name and adsense I bought from him and after a week, I no longer have access to the site again.

Despite changing the hosting to mine, and because it was the domain in question he used as a primary domain used in purchasing hosting from godaddy.

Now he's claiming he no longer have access to the email used in obtaining the hosting and that he has lost the hosting information as well.

That's how I lost the domain and money spent on the blogging journey.

I'm still hoping to start again one day again when am comfortable starting

I have once paid 50k and 30k for design. I have also paid 7k before. I have designed more than 3 times. All of them quacks.

sure I understand your point. the site should be appealing and user friendly, especially it should be mobile friendly which is recommended..


but it doesn't have to be too bogus. now a days lots of site are going minimalist. they are using very simple themes but appealing, mobile and user friendly. so your site can still be clean, simple , mobile friendly either using or WordPress
