For a bungalow, the structural stability apart from a good soil depends mostly on the the blocks and the concrete mix used for the foundation, then if you intend using concrete fascia in stead of a fascia board, i would advice that reinforced concrete columns/pillars be introduced at the corners so as to carry the concrete fascia, this ll avoid future cracks... Also lintels at the various openings.


For a storey building the structural stability depends on the building frame which comprises of :

Columns /pillars
Beams
Slab/decking
Reinforcement /iron barr
Chain lintels
And size of footings
