Pls how can I prepare bean soup

If it is then
Peel the beans by soaking inside water for few minutes till the brown skin is soft,then wash off.
Take your peeled beans and put in your pot,add little water for boiling and add your potash,which is optional, but it kind of helps in the softness and the time it takes
After cooking till soft,take your Ijabe which is that small broom they use in mashing Ewedu
Mash well and put aside
You can either add your seasonings directly at this point or just do it aside
Take another pot and pour a good amount of palmoil,not too much because you're not meant to have the oil swimming at the top

Then take your onion and chop or dice into small pieces and pour into your heated oil,wait for about a minute or two just to get enough onion flavour inside the oil then pour your mashed beans,add your seasoning cubes,you can add iru (locust Bean's)
So what I do is this
I learnt something somewhere
I pour my iru first into the heated oil to get a whole lot of its flavour,then add my crayfish and round fish,then onions, it's a whole lot of aromatic flavour coming out,then my cubes
