Read the CBN Act as well as the BOFIA Act. They provide clarity as to the functions and powers of the CBN.
Read sections 30 and 33 of the CBN Act.
They can make regulations and ascribe criminal liability to defaulters.

Is the Anchor borrowers program a grant or a loan?
Do the regulations which govern the program penalise diversion or not?
The contract you sign before accessing the funds, does it state the purpose and conditions of grant or not?

All we should be discussing is this new letters CBN is dishing up and down because that’s the essence of this platform. If we are stopped from investing then I don’t see a reason for this platform- This should be the mean concern on this platform. Or his anybody here peeing agric loans?
