Na our naija style you just describe so o grin Oyibo people don't act like that. Especially Canadians, they're very fair. Your application is legal and they're legally binded to give you PPR within processing time if your application is authentic. They are extremely patient and will keep apologizing or sending the 'queue for review' email until they finish working on your file. They themselves know they have failed in their promise once your application exceeds 6 months. Don't fear. Sign that petition joor.

@bold shocked shocked angry God forbid. We will meet in Canny this December or early next year

Legally binded? Under what law nne? What jurisdiction? What kind of promise are you taking about here? A country is evaluating to see if you are fit to come to their country whether your application is authentic.....please don't abuse the word "legal" here.

You don't you write a petition against the USA government for rejecting 90% of applications even if your reason to travel is legit.

Oh okay thank you so much.
I'm checking it out already. I dont have an IT background though so you actually believe its something one with a zero-IT background can do?
33 points will go a really long way for me. Because the CRS cutoff not dropping is so scary.

Please Where do I get study materials and how long did it take for you to prepare and sit the exams? Thanks.

Of course, the next exam is in March as I earlier explained. For the materials, you can get it from the BCS website, here. BCS suggests that you can read and study on your own but due to everyone's busy schedule in this our country especially, I highly doubt if that's possible. Luckily for you there are some tutorial centers you can register with and they'll help you. Their classes are online and you just need to join them from your phone/laptop. Most of the teachers there have taken the BCS exams and they know how to help you. I learnt from them by the way and they helped a great deal. BNT is their name. Just call their customer center: 08073375252. You should first join their telegram group and ask them more about the exam. I'll advise you join in early because there's a lot you'll need to learn since you have no IT background. But I'm sure they'll break it down for you in the simplest terms.

Hello house

My crs currently peaks at 420 with a bachelor's degree, a PR sibling, over 3 years experience and potentially good IELTS score.
Please how do I increase my crs score through education or any other route?

Take the BCS Certificate Course in IT. It'll boost your score by 33 points at least. https://www.bcs.org/get-qualified/international-higher-education-qualifications-heq/bcs-certificate-in-it/. The exams are written twice every year and the next one is in March 2020. You need to start preparing now if you're really considering it.

Asking for a companion! A quick and credible response will be appreciated.

I worked in a bank for a year. Can my former MD who is no longer with the bank write my reference letter? How will the V.O confirm the credibility of my referee. My former MD is probably working in another bank or something like that.

I hope the visa officer won't throw out my application because of this.

Employment letter and salary account statements are all available.

Thanks for your anticipated response.

I'll recommend BNT. They are an online tutorial center. You don't need visit any tutorial center physically. You can reach them on 08073375252.

bank MD Which bank md will write you a ref letter. Contact HR Or line manager
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Cryptomania: 9:08pm On Oct 27, 2019
It was a mortgage bank, quite popular bank. The MD was more like a supervisor too during the period she was working in the bank. We want to avoid the bureaucracy involved in going through the HR. And she left the bank some 5 years ago. The former MD is more accessible than going through the HR.

My question still is, is there a problem if the former MD writes the reference letter.

Hmm! Sis, from what you have typed, I guess you are still pre-AOR or fresh post-AOR. If you have experienced the long tortorous wait, you won't talk like this @bold. This application is one of the most life-changing application one can ever go through, you can't move forward or backward, you can't buy new car, rent/buy new house, change house appliances to your taste, go on vacation anyhow, change kids schools as you would like, organise dream wedding, to pay children school fees will be paining you etc because you just can't touch that pof anyhow, you keep managing, more like self-induced poverty in case PPR comes anytime soon, God forbid you're robbed or financial emergency befall you in the middle of the wait. Or if you're frustrated with your current job and don't want to go through the stress of changing jobs since you'll repeat the same job search process for Canny but what do I know? The constant mental decision-based dilemma you through daily because you don't know the outcome of VO's decision or when the decision will get to you is one that can't be explained, only experienced firsthand. I hope the wait is easy on you.
And applicants have a right to express their concerns via CSE or any other means, albeit in a respectful tone. I can't start saying all the cases, but I have seen where applicants write heartfelt legitimate plea and get ghost update the next couple of days, then PPR.

This is very correct. The wait is very depressing. Its so unfair, even banks dont stall loan applications like this.

I couldn't find your original post on part-time work question. Are you an FSW outland applicant? If yes, part-time work during your university can be used for EE as long as it meets the stipulations on CIC website. If you worked 15 hours per week, then 2 years part time work equals to one year full time 30 hours per week work experience. So if you worked 15 hours for 4 years, that is equal to 2 years full time work. If you add it to your current one year full time experience, you can have 3 years experience.
Don't worry, you're very close to getting ITA

Please which one is Outland applicant?

Best case scenario, cut-off drops to 453 by late December or early next January. Worst case scenario, you write another IELTS by the time you get 3 years experience, i.e. if your IELTS expires by then. Between these two scenarios, there are other possibilities: write TEF, marry your bae if they have the same qualifications as you to boost your CRS score, or go for provincial nomination.

Thanks Johnny, please what is the ideal TEF score combination ?

No problem. She should not use the bank's letterhead for the reference without HR's permission, in case CIC decides to verify from HR, as is the norm for big institutions.

How many years was your masters, what was the session year on your transcripts and what was the year of graduation on your certificate? That will determine my advice.

Hello everyone, I am a silent reader and I’ve been reading up previous threads.
I’m on pre ITA. I’ve got some questions to ask.

I completed my BSC in 2014 then I started working almost immediately till date, started my full time MSC in 2015 alongside a full time job. My question is, I read about work experience and some people advised to fill part time as the nature of study.
I know working alongside schooling outside Canada is accepted since it’s not stated on the cic website.

My question is do I fill part time schooling and if it won’t be seen as misinterpretation?
Has anyone filled full time schooling with working full time and has gotten PR?

@Luceecarter I'm not sure why you deleted the question but FOREIGN work experience during University does count towards Express entry.

Read this:
Foreign work experience completed while studying is also eligible work experience for the purpose of the Federal Skilled Worker Program and Federal Skilled Trades Program.
The restriction that work experience must not coincide with full-time studies is only relevant to the Canadian Experience Class Program and the points awarded for Canadian work experience under Express Entry’s CRS.
