Some of them do it just to make more money. Imagine sending someone for x-ray for no good reason, not even caring of the future side effects |

Someone that’s having hbp was misdiagnosed of having kidney failure. The trauma almost killed him before he was suggested to redo the diagnosis somewhere else. |

Its better the doctors and nurses curse me for doing oversabi than falling victim to wrong diagnosis. I always ask questions and do my personal research |

Most competent medical practitioners are finding their ways outside this country on a daily basis. What we have now are mostly inexperienced doctors that have replaced their stethoscope with mobile Phones. |

Run away from any hospital in Nigeria that tells you it doesn't do referrals. Run away from these hospitals who have house officers running the place. Garki Hospital for example. |

About two months ago I was misdiagnosed for HBP by some doctor at BMH Port Harcourt and consequently placed on heavy bp drugs. Only took the drugs once and my body system changed. Had to be admitted at another private hospital (SOPHIKE) who did a good job in stabilizing my condition. Just last weekend Another yeye doctor at another private hospital in PH (ACRON) prescribed COCODAMOL when I went to complain that I was feeling uneasy and finding it difficult to sleep. Our health care system is next to none. |

Something is seemingly wrong with Nigeria; preventive medicine still the most efficient. WE SHOULD ALL INCULCATE THE PREVENTIVE MEDICINE APPROACH |

That is why it is good to conduct search on your symptoms. There are good medical websites that gives near accurate result. You go to hospital prepared |

Nigerian doctors are empty heads who will just kill you for nothing. Well you can't blame them after passing through a mediocre medical school where all they do is read theory and pray you pass. Some procedures they can't do, before you know it they start referring you from one hospital to the other until you find yourself in a teaching hospital or fmc where the quack "professors" there will still end up referring you to India or Malaysia. |

Most of these doctors are careless, after undergoing a minor surgery, the surgeon instructed one of the doctors to give me drugs, the doctor asked me if I was an ulcer patient I said yes, he still went ahead to give me diclofenac, he told me to take 4 in a day, innocent me, I took it for almost two weeks but started finding it difficult to breathe well with Sharp pain at my back. I reported back to the hospital, another doctor attended to me and asked me who gave me diclofenac? I told him it was one of the doctors, he called the doctor and asked, only for him to tell me" Madam I'm very sorry " I had to start treating ulcer again because the pain was unbearable. |

Sapiosexuality:The best hospitals u can get there are private but very expensive. I witnessed the eye hospital in kaduna made somebody blind from misdiagnosis and wrong treatment. Just like that. That same hospital almost blinded one guy but he went outside the country to correct what they did. Had he not been on money, he will become a blind man. Both eyes. |

The government needs to do something about our medicals in Nigeria, no competent and experience doctors in the field anymore and people's lives are at risk everyday in the hands of these inexperienced ones |

Its really painful and dangerous to be treated for the wrong ailment ..continuous hands must be on ground to checkmate this especially the medical council and the government .A lot of persons has died and are still dying because of this.. They are trained to be careful but I wonder why some of our medical doctors are so carefree and lackadaisical in practice Pls don't just take medications ,do your own research and background check before taking the drugs.ask questions Google is a friend!!!!!! |
