Even the chief of air staff doesn’t fly as much as Buhari. Maybe Buhari can be a pilot for Nigeria Air. The difference is that Obasanjo got us DEBT RELIEF due to his travels whereas, General Buhari has increased Nigeria’s DEBT by two and half times, from ₦12 trillion in 2015 to ₦27.5 trillion today . He is the President, we need international collaboration, Let's not criticize everything. I'm not a Buhari fan but haba if he doesn't travel who will. No other person can Forster billateral ties like the President of a country. Even if ministers go there, they will have to come back with a report that will need approval from the President, so it's better the President is there to sign sharp sharp. 2 Likes |

If President Buhari decides not to attend the numerous international economic fora or visit friendly countries to explore mutual economic interests, the same Reno Omokri and his co-travellers would criticize Buhari for lacking requisite social and diplomatic skills. The truth is Reno Omokri and his 'ogas in Dubai exile' are unhappy and jealous about how Buhari's economic diplomacy strategies had gone smoothly with immense short term and long term economic benefits for the country. Even his scheduled periodic "private visit" to UK is critical for the massive tasks ahead espcially in working with his elite economic advisory council. Buhari remains the President of Nigeria and the onus rests on him to do all that is constitutional to strengthen Nigeria's economy and polity. He gives directives and takes none from anyone unless constructive advice. Reno's opinion means nothing to him. |
