Go to Bolt office at Samonda and you will be directed to inspection center which is opposite Ventura mall when it's confirmed your vehicle is acceptable. Pay ₦2k and get your car inspected, return to office to have your profile activated...

Thanks boss.

Do have an idea of the terrain in Ib now

My day in a nutshell.

I picked this guy and his white gf at Eko hotel yesterday to Mushin. (I almost even cancelled the request because of state of Mushin road at the moment)
Nice guy, we interacted and gisted all the way, trip was 2,900, guy gave me 5k and said I should come pick them at Eko hotel by 6:30am this mrng to the Int'l airport.
Picked them at 6:20 and dropped them off at the airport, guy gave me 6k.
I headed to local and got a trip around 8am to awoyaya. 6,300.
Immediately I saw a trip from awoyaya back to Int'l airport. 5800.

I decided to go see my mechanic around fatai atere way, and then head home, na so Mushin LG boys double crossed me with towing van while waiting for the mechanic
We started doing james bond driving as i was ready to risk it all, I almost broke there legs sef. Na so the guy shout. "mad man mad man"

I just thank God sha if not all the money wey I make for go.
I'm home now chilling and waiting for madam. grin

Weldone boss... You know nah to b continue b dis story, please no put us for suspense for long, once madam come just update us grin

Mine has been overdue for a while but riders' complaints got me blocked without prior notification due to recent AC challenge (though AC is fine now). I didn't get a similar message, mine is kinda different due to the peculiarity.

I was planning to ask here if any had his account blocked due to similar reason and if the person was unblocked without reinspection.

In your case, since there's a definite date and time (unlike a mail & an in-app message I got last week that wasn't definitive), you may be blocked after the time elapses.

I got same quality complaints tin yesterday, left me down somehow, so today I took the car to workshop for routine maintenance only to find out that my a/c filter is bad... A/c is working perfectly now, happy and gingered me, tomorrow I'm back on d road again.

Always be attentive when you end a trip on Uber. The total amount in cash you're to collect from the rider stays on the screen until you swipe "complete ride" or so cos afterwards what uber shows you is your earning from that trip on your earnings dashboard and there's no other way you can really determine how much the rider is to hand over to you except they show you their phone (I hope you know the dubious ones would not show you)
This is very important to note because riders who don't have their debit cards connected to their Uber account may have carry-over payments (from previous trips with other drivers) to make and Uber is only able to receive that money through the next driver (you).
For instance a short trip from admiralty way to somewhere else on admiralty way should never exceed 1,000 naira but if u end the trip and your driver app tells you "driver owes 2,700" my guy collect the money complete oh cos it's most likely a carry over payment on the riders part. So if you don't pay attention after tapping "collect cash" and go ahead to "complete ride" you may have missed the 2,700 naira and only get to see probably between 500 to 800 naira as your earning from that trip whereas Uber thinks you've collected 2,700 and minuses it from your subsequent earnings which you may never understand how it happened.

Wow thank you so much for this
God bless you.

I'm more informed...

..that I pay my people to much grin

Just joking. My people deserve all they get and more... Most of the time.

It makes sense why people resort to some of the things they do. But it doesn't change that sometimes it's penny wise, pound foolish. One has to think of ways to cater to that demographic. If it means in the future having a budget brand separate from our main brands that strictly deals in "rigging" and tokunbo parts to keep you going with full disclosure, that may be an option but one would have to do research to see if it is worth the potential problems. Yes, we know how to rig but don't.

At one point, EgunMogaji2 was talking about potentially opening an American style junk yard. If something like that was available, that demographic would be a lot easier to serve.

That and others are still incubating.

I’ll tell you Ma that all the plans I made in the comfort of USA is being revisited on the ground in the unforgiving Nigeria environment.

PS: I’ll also admit that the banks 12% tbills rate is making me business lazy.

Was at pelican hotel around past 12am, got a request at globus supermarket to take her within chevyview. I had wanted to link chevyview estate from the back but saw a gate that barricaded chevyview off pelican which means I'd have to go all the way to igboefon to do a u-turn then head back to Chevyview. Called rider that I can't make the trip due to so and so reasons.... the picture showed what I got but me I don't slack to give the f^ck back
