That is because it isnot dominated by Igbos it isnot built on nepotism n federal character ..lol
Many of you Igbos are senselessly pathetic to say the least.

Ventura1:
Don't expect a team built on nepotism and Federal character to go far...
SyrusdeHansome:
My question is why do they keep taking only Yoruba nd Hausa players to every major tournament?
Do they own Nigeria?
What do they always gain in trying to cheat other tribes?

Remember this is an age-grade football and should be developmental. If we only focus on winning and leave out the main purpose which is development, won’t we be hurting ourselves?
make football analyst no dey brainwash u with all these developmental bruhaha, the aim of participating on any competition is to win it. TRUE OR FALSE?

They lack the basics ...everything is not dribble

The best 4 sets at this level for Nigeria remains 2015, 2013, 1993 and 2007
cos they won lol?tho most of those teams are impressive but I’d pick the 2001 Trinidad and Tobago team of them femi victor brown akpan bassey over most of these sets asides the 93 team which I didn’t watch but they were very impressive and the 2007 yemi tella led team

That was then! The least age of the players that played the u17 then would be 25 years old (and I hope you know what that means)....these ones are almost using their real ages the oldest there should be 19, majority of them there are 17 so what are you saying

No matter who you are, by age 25 all your joint epiphseal plates have fused!!!!! At most, MRI would give a false negative to 3 year above the age requirement. That is also in the minority! I know you are exagerating to prove your point. However, that fact remains that this set of Eaglets are not as gifted as the ones we had in prior years.

Wow!!!
So, I’m not capable of making sound deductions for myself on issues that are unfolding before me that I have to rely on football analyst?
This is where I draw the curtain. Good night.

That is what I’ve been trying to say since but of course, we won the game so everyone is cool.
The way a very tactical team will bundle us out of competition if we continue playing the way we played today, we sef go shock.
All any average good team needs is play around our midfield ....spread passes around ...en shift attack side by side ...doing that within 30mins will born out our midfield cos believe me the only team we playing is our midfield strength.... they use there strength to push the ball into dangerous positions . ....any good team will allow less of this en by passing around our players it will force den to commit fouls which will keep be a disadvantage...the coach needs to tell the team to calm down...u ave the strength en power nw u need to know how to b in charge of the tempi of a game ..if dey keep rushing a better en sound team will play dem out of the game en a close victory like 2-1 or 1-0 will send dem out.....

It is not just poor, but their tactical literacy is zero, passing accuracy is infinitesimal, play maturity is nursery(except for number 13), and their dribbling is provoking. they're all trying to out-do each other in purposeless dribbling.

In fact, their performance in total is terrible and nauseating to watch.

so stop watching them

You mean the daddies we produced then? You obviously can't spot the difference between young boys and Macaulay grin
fujirice:

No they are not.
With what Nigeria has produced at this level, this team is way below average.
Unless they turn their tactics around, I’m not impressed.

Uncle, there’s a difference between badmouthing and pointing out the obvious. It’s like you didn’t watch the match. But if you did and just want to settle for less, that’s your own headache.
Their performance today is below par. Forget the result.

Not impressed with their performance tonight, they are just too selfish with the ball. Even to make complete pass na problem.

They better raise their game o!

their perfomance is commendable, what they should work on is converting goals in the final 3rd, thats the only flaw,
they are good at retrieving balls, Good
they hold on to possession, Good
they are tireless. Good
they run down the opposition. Good
they have enough energy. good
they have good fighting spirit. hallmark of a good team
they dont let opposition lead deter them, they fight back . perfect
they have individual brilliant gifted players. good

what u should criticize is the front line, they should bury their chances because they create,

not all this badmouthing. free these boys abeg. they are kids, so they play like one
