The referendum will determine who goes where and how many countries will come out of it. Probably five.

When was the Nigger Area at its best? Was it not in 1960-1966? Who were the most revered leaders? Are they not Zik, Bello, Awo, Okpara, Osadebe, etc.?

These regions acted like countries, as the premiers were dining and planning with head of states from other countries, unlike now when quacks like Okorocha, Theo Orji, Obiano, Ganduje, etc, are there bribing newspapers to announce commissioning of toilet papers at airports.

If at that then regional system there was progress then the common sense thing was/is to turn them into the natural nations that they were/are, and you will see Africa change for the better almost overnight....

But because many of you Big brother minds are use to military rule, ashawo, pastors, weaves, Remy Martin shayo, Dubai, EPL, are greedy and jealous, and dont believe in the ability of your people, you automatically feel a certain type of way by the mention of BIAFRA, ODUDUWA, AREWA....because it could make you do something that seems to be difficult, especially when your beer or that Nyash is sweet and easily available because of poverty and the same greed and jealousy

Positive competition, The government would be closer to the people We'll understand ourselves But most of all we'd be free from the stigma of being a Nigerian because the war in the North is giving us a bad name in the International community.

One wants to develop, another wants to hold onto power; who's going to be the next president is all they care about. What one considers as marginalization, the other sees it as a blessing. I've been on this website and seen others take joy in other region's misery or some wishing death to other regions. This is not a country that will survive. We are destined to fail with the mindset I've witnessed by Nigerians on this forum and other social media. We have political goons hired by our politicians sowing hate. We have a generation of youths that don't care about anything but BBH, YouTube or sex.

This country is better off divided. Even if each nation experience the same problem, I don't believe it'll be in the same capacity as it is in Nigeria right now

you are absolutely right like I quoted a guy that was rejoicing over the deaths of Shias sometimes I wonder why I share the same country with some people, I used to think that our population and diversity is our strength but it’s actually our weakness, the hatred is too too much,an Average Hausa man in Core north hates an Igbo man and a Yoruba and vice versa , an average Yoruba hates an Igbo and an average Igbo hates an Hausa and Yoruba even south south is worse...we can’t make progress like this , there’s no one voice once a region is benefiting from the present situation every other person can go to hell it doesn’t make any sense

Biafra don't have the resource and knowhow to catapult to anywhere. The east without the oil producing state will be a poorer version of Cameroon.

The far north will suffer without the middle belt because they lack the arable land, educated population, religious tolerance to attract investment and is obviously landlocked.

South south will be the richest nation by far, they will have their 2m barrel oil production to less than 20m people alone. They have reasonable other resource in natural gas, arable land ( Edo, Delta, cross river) and relatively educated workforce.

South west wills developed well and we the omoluabi will be a great country where things will finally work

We value a Nigeria where The Grassroots have The Liberty, Authority and Responsibilities to tell Mr President Everything they want.
We do not want a Nigeria where Mr President dictates his Whims and Caprices from the Center.
The First is Democracy while The Second is crash Dictatorship.

Our Military ignorantly cause this Catastrophe on us. The only Language they understand is Command and Control. They also know Authority and Slavery and that opposition to Authority is Mutiny punishable by outright obliteration from seeing. Division of Labour, Specialisation, Due Process, Costing and Profit Projection are very anathema to their Upbringing. Nigeria Military, by their long period of Ruling This Country, have especially castrated and rendered the Civil Society foolish, silly, ignorant and impotent. The NASS is very scared to amend The Constitution. They play safe games always as if they are avoiding any interruption from the Military that gave them the Constitution in the first place. The NASS have never tried to write workable Constitution sponsored by at least two thirds of themselves for Nigeria to appreciate that they know what they are doing. Nobody in the Legislature is aware that he or she has equal Rights and Responsibilities as Mr. President. Nigeria is such a sorry State. Nigeria is still a primitive animal Kingdom living a life of survival of the fittest.

Imagine you have a team rowing a boat. Ideally they should all row in the same direction to make progress.

However, what happens when half the team rows in one direction, while the other half rows in the opposite direction?

Would that boat still make progress and move forward?

To be a successful country, you need all forces pushing/pulling in the same and right direction, not the case in Nigeria, with each tribe pushing and pulling in different directions, hence the country’s stagnation.

Do you know that the American CONSTITUTION is more decentralized and consequently more workable than the rather clumsier Constitution that Nigeria has?


The Essence is Good Governance, so why not adopt 100 percent a more workable Constitution instead of dwelling on one that is complicated by The Nigerian Factor?

The South East has all it takes to manage its self successfully and bows to nobody, but it is very important to note that the so called South East is not Igbo land. The SE is just a border drawn by military leaders. When all Igbos/Igboids/Igbo speaking jointly leave Nigeria, Nigerians will be shocked at what will be left of Nigeria

You are clouded with emotions. Cameroon has about 30% of Nigeria land, only 20m people and a huge coast line. Cameroon have so much resources than biafra yet it is a struggling nation what makes you think Biafa wouldn't struggle?

I know nah..english is the official language..korea too english is the official language but they have their own universal language
Do u know how Many people are against this english?..do u know every word? even if u are a yoruba guy or girl.. U can't translate some english to yoruba.some hausa ppl can't speak english.. If u speak english they will look at u anyhow.only God can save us o but i think a language everyone will understand can help us

I think you have answered the reason why We should be divided with this your example of those countries you mentioned, those countries are practising True Federalism, where every Region/state has is own autonomy to make the federal strong. But in Nigeria we asked for the same system and Hausa say no is this unworkable system they will die with and do you think other regions will just allow the future of their generation to be washing away just like that by doing nothing but just be looking. If we can not share the country to move forward then the Country should be divided then, so that anyone that wish to move will move and for those that wish to die in a single spot can die there forever without getting anybody to challenge their wish. Right from time i do not support the country to breakup because we need each other and this is the reason why we are asking for restructuring where we will join hand together to be the Nation we are dreaming for but they say no and we are not moving.

All these other countries you listed were a French creation. Nigeria was carved up from the great Yoruba state, hausas city states, pagan tribes of middle belt, minority tribes of the delta and igbos semi autonomous villages of south eastern Nigeria

The annoying part is that people that don't contribute nothing to the country are the ones ruling it. Most northern states ought to have been together with Niger. Nigeriens have many things in common with those core northern abok!s

Nigeria should have been four or five different countries.

South West should have been a single country
South East and South South should also be a separate country.
Nasarawa, Benue, Plateau, Southern Kaduna and some parts of Abuja should have been another country.
North East and North West should just be together.


Unless Nigeria is split into many countries, this country will not develop even in a trillion years time.

Forget the concept of restructuring. Even if Nigeria is restructured, things will still not work. There's no love among Nigerians. We hate ourselves, we just can't be one country.

I don't know of any country in the world with this much diversity that is developed. We just cannot develop.

Ask most Nigerians, they want the break up, we've suffered too long.

In ten, fifteen years time, things will be so bad in this country that only the elite will be able to survive.
