I have been using my Laptop since 2015 and I never experienced any excess data consume... I even upgrade to window 10 but the browsing is ok... It started just last weekend... I subscribe Mtn night plan.... before 12: 12 am I received msg telling me that I exhausted my data... I sub. Again and before 12: 28am all The data is gone... But before, when I subscribe Night plan I browse with it till 4am.... I have check my software update (uncheck) it. I browse about my issue...I followed the instruction given to me online but all in vain...... Please any help? Your suggestion is needed. Thankfully |

9jaPromo:Do tou see anything like windows update on your desktop? That's what's consuming the data. Get enough data and update your windows 10 to the latest 2019 version. Secondly, go to those live tiles when you click on the windows logo, right click on them and off it one by one 1 Like |

I've being having similar experience Just kukuma downgraded to windows7 I don't know if na every week dm d send update. |

9jaPromo:windows 10 is a beast when it comes to data consumption. It's not hp but the windows 10 OS. If you are tethering your hotspot, ensure you change the internet option to metered. That way windows 10 won't download updates when it connects to your hotspot. Another trick is to make use of a firewall software like netlimiter. Find and download the cracked version. With it, you can control apps that can use your internet connection. If you can't cope with Windows 10, downgrade to 8. It's almost similar to Windows 10 unlike 7 that's very different 1 Like |
