Same with that ornicus.

He was initially being professional and selective with his words till we filled his cup here and it started to over flow.
...started insulting anyone that goes contrary to his submissions.

What were you thinking, that you could insult me into silence? No can do.

The way some people try yo coin words and use technicalities to justify wrongdoings is just weakening.

I agree to the closing part of your post. I did mention that to someone here, you all are in "luck" that you can respond whatever way. But some jobs build our tolerance level- this driving thing has to be one of them. Help me beg your colleagues to take it easy. We are not out to get them. Izzu my love was one of you. Our marriage would have scattered if I look down on drivers.

Thank you for your calm response, Sir. I can tell you won't call me olosho if I call you taxi driver now... cheesy

Goodnight love

Good morning all.
A card trip/ride was ordered on taxify for my grandmother . The driver took her to the location and requested for cash of 3000 claiming is the cost of the fare. He was acting to be in a hurry that my grandma couldn't call me but had to pay 3000 to him. I found out in the evening of that 29th and called him and he claimed he didnt know it was a card trip that he will refund. We had a chat too. Called him all through yesterday but he refused picking. The trip was even actually 2800. My grandma feels so bad and wants her money back. How can someone be so mean to cheat an old woman of 80+?

Why will they add incentive or take bike when they have you the DRIVER the slave?
That's why many people stopped doing personal driving, it's because of all these type of things.
Especially driving women, the next thing u hear is "I pay you". Some even expect you to do house chores and run awkward errands for them
grin grin run awkward errands like,"washing pants and lighting ovens"

Guys stop responding to these low lifes, you're wasting your time,Nigerians are a funny bunch ,I know it's cliche but it's the painful truth ,we have this kind of character that you can't explain. Yes I said low lifes,I don't care if you're a CEO or work upstream or downstream bla bla bla ,you can be a low life if you reason and act like one . Many of their fathers and boos drive uber abroad ,go to Atlanta and see how many old guys driving uber and sending money down to naija ,no matter how they feign or hide it,there's always that condescending tone to whatever they say . This is evident in how most people ,even uber drivers treat people below them ,fuel attendants ,waiters ,gatemen etc. Just do you ,follow the rules and ignore all this back n forth. Check out this message from uber to drivers ,it basically shuts down any argument here...

I would never understand why some of you are overly sensitive and quick to play victim. Thinking everyone is trying to put you down. So, one needs to drive on UBER to relate to all your actions or disagree with them? Smh!!!

But they are not from the street or I like to think they are a special class of "street".

Maybe you do. The person wearing the shoe knows where it really hurts.

Hope you have reported him to bolt? Take the matter to Twitter and tag bolt with the screenshot of the trip and that of your chat with him, they respond quicker that way. That is one heartless driver I must say

It is ignorant my bro. I always try not to look down on anybody, okada, petroleum attendant, molue or anyone. Hustle is hustle and you don't have to do white collar jobs before you should be respected on your jobs. It is just so appailing that some people who aren't even doing as good as some people with blue collar jobs look down on them because they aren't doing office jobs.

I hope all the "you're employees of Uber/bolt because you work on their platform......" can read that "You're your own boss"

Let's cure our ignorance. Too much grammar or wrong use of technicalities to twist fact doesn't connote brilliance. Again, "Drivers are their own bosses and aren't employees of uber". Let's be properly guided next time.

AND TO BOSSES, ANY CONDESCENDING RIDER THAT TRIES BULLY YOU WITH "BUT YOU WORK WITH UBER AND AS SUCH YOU SHOULD TAKE ME TO ANYWHERE AND DO ANYTHING" EDUCATE THEM WITH THIS FACT THAT YOURE YOUR OWN BOSS AND DONT WORK WITH UBER BUT A PARTNER. THEY ARE JUST POMPOUS IGNORAMUSES, TEACH THEM. BUT ANY OF THEM THAT FAILS TO BE TAUGHT, REJECT THEIR TRIP AND GO PEACEFULLY.

PEACE!!!!

Don't dignify hypocrite who tries to make u feel bad forming holiness while they do worse. I've long seen through him

Gazzuz and Rd autoworks own their platforms.

If I am self employed, I can choose to reject jobs. However as an employee/partner I may not have that leverage, depending on the terms of my employment/ agreement.

I deliberately chose the words I posted. If I post something snide about reading comprehension, intelligence and how a lack of these will limit the opportunities available to people, there will be triggering in the driver brotherhood.

Some people can only read and comprehend the mileage on their dashboards. lipsrsealed

If riders know that drivers aren't employees or staff of any ehailing platform, we will have less fights. Drivers are partners; they choose when to work and can reject trip which they perceive pose threats to them. They are not bound to accept all trips.

Infact, these companies know this fact, hence the need for surge to eñcourqge drivers to work during rainy days because they know many drivers will stay at home or reject those flooded areas.
The fact that uber owns the platform is why they have share from drivers' earnings, but the ownership of the platform doesn't give uber or any platform the privilege to dictate which trip a driver must accept

I didn't want to have to do this. Now what?
