I personally think that's how it should be. We should open up football to excitement. Even if you have to give 10 pens a match do it because people want to see goals.

U-17 WC Fun fact: Ecuador U-17 beat this Argentine team during their South American U-17 Championships and their No.10 Mina who scored against us from the spot kick was the top scorer of the entire Championship with 6 goals.

Ecuador is a better team than this team from Argentina. South America this edition is crap. Even Chile is not that impressive.

That keeper needs to be flogged. I don't know why that no.7 for Cameroun go dey bear EBA as name yet he no fit use "EBA power" dominate these Argentines.

Yes. That is because South American teams/talents focus more on technical training between ages 7-17... By ages 18-22, they begin to bulk up bit by bit.

This Argentine team will struggle and lose badly against teams like Brazil, Nigeria, Senegal, France, Ecuador, Japan and even Angola.

Dem no good abeg. Just doing all they can to see off the game as they are struggling to cope with Cameroun's power and pace. Cameroun hit the crossbar from a fine move.

In short.. both teams are annoying. Cameroun no fit score... And their plays are not that impressive. Then Argentina na team of oppotunists.

And the Opportunistic Argentines strike again. Using same manner they beat the offside trap for the second goal, they caught Cameroun high line defence napping again.... 3-1 Argentina leads.

Bye bye Cameroun.

I don't think they can beat Spain.

Rangers produced a superb performance on Wednesday night, beating Ross County 4-0 away from home to keep pace with Celtic at the top of the table.

The Gers were unconvincing in their 2-1 home win over Motherwell on Sunday afternoon, and needed to turn in a much better display as they went on the road last night.

Steven Gerrard made changes to his side, and it was striker Alfredo Morelos who marked his return to the starting line-up with the opening goal, tapping in Sheyi Ojo's cross.

7 Weirdest Football Rivalries
Ryan Jack curled home the second, before the midfielder fired him a third just minutes before half time, handing Rangers an almost unassailable lead at the break.

Morelos added his second and Rangers' fourth after half time, smashing home from Joe Aribo's pass to secure a thumping win, staying level on points with Celtic.

A number of players turned in much better performances than they did on Sunday, and midfielder Aribo was one of them, as he was given more freedom to go forward and attack.

Joe Aribo of Rangers FC in action during the UEFA Europa League Play Off First Leg match between Legia Warsaw and Rangers FC on August 22, 2019 in Warsaw, Poland.

Fans criticised Aribo on Sunday for a below-par display, but playing in a midfield with Jack and Glen Kamara, Aribo was able to go forward more and impact the game in the final third.

Supporters were much happier this time, calling him 'different class', 'outstanding' and 'excellent', feeling the game became the Joe Aribo show despite Jack's two goals.

Others felt he got back to his best having been deployed further forward by Gerrard, and praised him for his dribbling ability, which really came to the fore last night.

When Joe Aribo first joined Rangers, he did so to such fanfare that it spawned talk of Rangers getting up to £20m back on their investment.

A clear talent, Aribo showed in flashes in Europa League qualification why Steven Gerrard is still “pinching” himself [RangersTV] that we got the lanky midfielder. And why Lee Bowyer was so raging [talkSPORT].

Domestically, however, Aribo has struggled to really make an impact on games, but after his performance against Ross County is that about to change?

Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo has saved his best performances so far for the European stage. (Photo by PressFocus/MB Media/Getty Images)

Aribo was simply fantastic up in Dingwall. In fact, the entire team were. But his quick feet, passing in tight spaces and immense skill were too much for County to handle.

This was Aribo on it – on the ball and enjoying himself. This, for me, is what we need to see more of in every match at Ibrox. The fans certainly enjoyed his performance.

Stopping short of saying this was a seminal performance from Aribo – the kind where he dominates a match, is a match winner and it’s against top opposition – it can be a springboard.

Rangers fans can be impatient at times and standards at Ibrox are immensely high from the get-go.

But you get the feeling that with a little breathing space this midfielder can develop into something special in Glasgow.

Is it too early to be talking £20m price tags and consistent, dominant midfield performances? Probably.

But last night Joe Aribo showed that he is beginning to settle into life at Rangers and exactly what he can bring to the side when he does.

That's not the issue.

In my experience I have to a conundrum of sorts where i am not sure which is the most important bathing required to succeed ABILITY or OPPORTUNITY.

You will be suprised how many boys who are playing in NPFL and even in English non league. If given OPPORTUNITY will give a good account of themselves.

The issue is who is most DESERVING OF OPPORTUNITY. There has to be an objective measurement of performance that entitles you yo be invited and if you perform SELECTED.

So whether Nwakali performs or doesn't perform that's not the issue.

Do you know how well the multitude of more deserving players would have performed if given the same opportunity.huh ❓
Very nice point.

The challenge is these players might fit in even more than K. Nwakali if given the chance. There are few golds out there but will need time to search, refine and horn to fit into the plan.

With respect to K. Nwakali, the coach in question has been in the system for a while, watch the young man grow through the ranks and knows the precise way to use him to the best of his own system.

Do you think it will be wise at this time to discard such talent in the search for a player that might not work and the coach doesn't have indepth understanding of the player's pattern of play?

Imama has his system and knows K. Nwakali fits into it and knows how best to utilise him. Dropping him because of his challenges would turn out a wrong call.
