You are right. I once said here on this thread that I know someone doing business in Nigeria with 3 branches and his not present physically, they told me the dude was running a charity organization.

Keep your fears to yourself. Ordinary cocoa farm estate can remain in place for fifty years without inconsistencies and fluctuations. Why do we like to posture towards fear than reason and rational? For clarity and right perspective in business and financial growth to be attained

I started managing my fathers stock portfolio and financial sector of his printing company from as a child, managed many peoples businesses in the past fifteen years. Businesses make over 200% annually. I dare to say it.

Palm Oil production to be precise.Got wind about the sale of 2 plots of land that was full of palm trees in a remote area that is known for oil production this week only to be disappointed that they were already sold.They have already started looking for sellers for me

My question is what does it take to start up an oil mill?? How profitable is it?? I have little knowledge about it but want it to divert into it especially with this whole TB saga and my TB is maturing on February.Sorry for derailing but I feel i can get the information i need here

pls don't go into production like that ,follow the way of dangote,ammasco,innosa etc.....start from trading the palm oil for profit at low key (testing water) if the indices are ok then increase volume ,then if client base is guaranteed The enter production to feed your customer ....

I have an approach for the palm oil I developed for someone before now I can share.

There are different stages in the palm oil business.

One, have the knowledge. The average palm fruit tree begins to fruit three to five years after cultivation. Its important to know when a field was cultivated before engaging. I.e if an investor gets an oil field that was cultivated 2017, and wants to make profit in 2019, it will end in disappointment.


1. I recommend occupying multiple stages of the service business. I.e begin by buying wholesale from producers and then sell to retail buyers this ensures you have a reserve that can buy up your product regardless of supply. Also broaden your client bases so you can make room for aalternate buyers should one dissapoint in purchasing goods.


2. If its long tern do not start with setting up a personal palm tree farm. Rent a farm. There are farms that are rented out annually. Rent them and then process the oils and then sell



3. To be an oil producer m, you'll need installations I.e oil mill which a good fabricator can provide at affordable rate. This consists of hydraulic press, drums, frying units



4. A truck is needed or trucks to facilitate movement of goods for sale and movement of workers to site.



5. Determine the number of trees on any land you rent. Note every tree has a quantity of oil you can get, so before you buy or rent any oil farm, you can make estimates. I.e multiply the number of trees against the quantity if litres each tree will give. This quite gives you directive to know ahead the quantity of undiluted oil you'll derive



6. If you want to dilute the oil, multiply the dilution ratio per unit tines the volume that the farm can give and you'll have n agreegrate report which you can use in making financial estimates even before you start production


So start by obtaining a blueprint. Production and financial estimates business blueprint.

If you do 6am to 9pm everyday that is 15hrs. 1,200 cars over 15hrs comes to 80 vehicles per hour. Very doable in a busy location.

This does not even factor those buying into jerry cans and okadas

Gun hmm I never seen any gun around loading depot or filling station except na police...get ur location like asaba ,study the frequency of car traffic ,get your land ,get your dpr approvals,build your station ,lease it out to total or MRS for 10m annually ,collect 5 years lease 50m ,get appointed as the dealer for the same station and chop 5 naira margin and use truck to generate way bill......where the charms and gun dey for this process...u want use charm for white man for total or gun for dpr
