I hope you saw the Vietnamese leader clearly saying Nigeria should allow cheap Subsidized rice (emphasis on subsidized) into Nigeria.

So you should be able to tell that those Asia countries deliberately sell cheap rice into our market to kill local production.

Besides, Government don't control price, ordinary Nigerians like yourself do.

Why not limit rice importation rather than outright ban of foreign rice when you know our local rice producer can not meet up with demand of consumers.Allow people to make their own choices in the market,wether they want local or foreign rice or any other item for that matter.
