The main issue is whether the letter wont raise any "why" considering the non-currency of it and of course if CIC reached out to the organization (which they sometimes do) to confirm your claim, hope the HR team would back back you up.
Trust me, you don't want to have a tiny spec of worry after you've submitted. The worry can very traumatic grin

ednut1:
she can get the letter as she is going as it wont be a current role. There is also no mention of 6 months on cic website. For a current role with an old letter if you have clocked 3 years as at the date of the letter i dont think any vo will be bothered if you have performed the same role during the period of the letter date and submission

Please help look into this matter.

I registered for wes and I filled 2019 as the year my Msc was awarded, however 2018 was written on my notification of result.
Please is this an issue and can I correct it or I should send my transcript and noification of result to WES like that?

Contact WES to make any changes to your profile. They respond quickly on FB messenger.

You have done that already, why the request again?
I must be very rusty in this game anyway. I'll be better in my silence mode.

Best wishes to the new lords in the rings grin

It’s nice to help but you should only give out information that you’re sure of. There has been no mention of expiration period for work reference letters on CIC website or even on this thread. Please edit your post.

Hi, thanks for reaching out.
I sent them an email via the account that sent to me and she confirmed both are at the same venue. I will call them on Monday just for further clarification.
DeeCan:
Hello, hope your exam went well and the venue issue was resolved?

Ok.. Buh is it an advantage for a nomination by the province for applicants that have IT certification? Peace
they can only use things stated in your eca report. As wes cannot assess what u listed province cant see it. So it doesn't help in any way except when you are looking for job there

This is not real. Where did you get that "watching YouTube videos" from in my response.

In any case, I'm wondering if there is an info on CIC website on the currency of the letter of PoF.

I'll like to be enlightened please.

Eraytee:
nothing of such on IRCC website and if its a new development post the link, try to avoid all this youtube videos that aims at getting more views than giving a valid info, please edit your post asap. thanks for trying to help the Moniker in question anyways.

Good day Nairalanders! Plz am new here but i have been reading and following this topic.
Am having issues with my transcripts ND & HND, my school has sent it to WES but i found out mistake was on my DOB month & Day only. Should I correct it and resend or i need to wait for WES to acknowledge the mistake first? The mistake was just on my ND transcript only. Please i need a reply urgently. Thanks
Plz guys, i just need to know if it is wise to make corrections and resend the transcript to WES. I don't know it will affect me in anyway or should i wait for WES to receive it and notice the mistake before sending the correct one?
Someone should plz tell me what to do

Thanks for sharing, do I have to change my location via VPN before using Nextplus. I tried signing up but I kept getting the "cannot reach nextplus service" error. Please suggest what I can do to install the app

chukwuemeka275:
Secondly I wish to call CIC tomorrow but both the text now and google hangouts dialer are not available in Nigeria for download. I need input from someone who has succeeded in calling from Nigeria on how to go about the calling?

Cardinal, sorry about this delay
I use an app called Nextplus to call the guys at cic no issues there, I didn't have to buy the number as well.
Though I think it would be available for a limited time.
I'm sure you will be fine.
All the best!

Wow! I didn't have that issue, it was pretty much 'plug and play'. I didn't have to alter my settings.
Well maybe you could try other random apps on the playstore (Android)
Frankly I just typed 'free calls to canada' in Google play store and lots of apps appeared.
Then I chose Nextplus randomly and viola it worked.

Good evening everyone, is anyone here with a masters degree in USA. I’m confused, is it necessary to evaluate ones degree using WES.

You cant blame them. These questions have been answered over and over, most cases a page or two back. Some of them can easily be answered by using google. The unnecessary questions make genuine questions not to be answered on time cos it takes take trying to catch up and lets be frank with ourselves, that people take out time to help answer questions here doesnt mean they dont have other things to do with their time.
If only there was a way of pinning the info "first time here? Read page 1 before proceeding". That would help.

Don't get me wrong o. Maybe i should have added a smiley to that post. Even with the pinning they will still ask. Page one is more than enough pinning. Some have even taken offence when directed to page one.

I was basically in the Engineering department
I respond to customers enquiries regarding electrical drawings and also do basic maintenance of their electrical systems.

Quick one for the engineers. I want to ask if CMRP certification can be evaluated and what its equivalent classification is.

Why dont you look up NOCs(NB: it must be either O,A or B) that you can easily rewrite to fit into Electrical repairs. Because customer enquiries stuff is more like a customer service job which is a NOC C, and its not acceotable for FSW.

You have to understand that’s why they say read from page 1 everyone comes here as a novice you start reading you educate yourself. Even when you ask a question you also need to do due diligence by researching yourself. No one comes to this thread a pro. He even helped by sending an image to help better understand. You are being too lazy to research yourself and now blaming Nigerians for even helping out. Read from page one, use the search bar here, use google, go on cic website you’ll find your answers but don’t complain when you ask a question that has been repeatedly answered and people are frustrated about repeating the same answers again how will u learn about the process This thread is in Part 9 because people share information willingly and if the same questions were asked over and over no one would grow from it. So pls Nigerian patriot go and read and stop spamming the thread.

Thank you fellow Nigerian grin grin grin grin

Fellow Nigerian what's wrong with u.. The time u used in posting this is enough for u to copy and paste the link here. If I had a better understanding of this site, I wouldn't have been asking u

Bet you also don't know how to use google but you want to enter a nation that thrives on research and DIY. Better, bring pen and jotter and go through page one of either Part 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. Then finish at least one part. That's how I STARTED. That's how NEWCOMERS ought to start. Anyone that does/did that hardly floats. We need questions bothering on unique and special cases not how much is flight ticket.

I celebrate you, fellow Nigerian.
