Kwara is not among...before some part of kwara will make up Abuja , all Niger state must have been abuja

I think Nasarawa state..since native FCT people are part of an ethnic group in Nasarawa

I think Niger and maybe some part of, Plateau

Kogi state did not exist then. Neither did Nassarawa.This takes me back though.

I remember Gongola state and of course Bendel state and her Bendelites.

Abuja has been der in a very good location and far in the middle so it was proper to site the Capital der so dat Lagos beach no go flood am grin

IBB is not Hausa and he is definitely part Yoruba.

It wasn't IBB's idea. The idea predated him. I think it started during the latter days of Gowon or the years of Murtala. IBB simply implemented it

We used to farm in Abuja with my grandfather before Babangida chased us. Abuja was part of Niger and Kaduna state. RIP my grandpa

Abuja was carved out of Niger State I think, Nasarawa was created by Late. Sanni Abacha in 1996 while Kogi was created in 1991. It can't be Kogi & Nasarawa.
