seems you are leaving Lagos for the first time. These vehicles have been there for ages. Highway patrol always use prado. Right from the algon prado.

But Police load 6 people in the same car and they sit in the car ALL day in the bushes.
The CEO drives from home to office in encountering potholes only.
They encounter bush, forest, sand, river, grass, sun...
Until we buy reinforced vehicles for the Police for patrol and operational purposes, the cars will always fall apart.
Recall when banks use Hilux and Izuzu for bullion services, (carrying money) they lasted 6 months and will be thrashed, until Cash In Transit companies were licensed and they came with CIT certified vehicles or bullion vans.

The US uses reinforced cars and only 2 officers per vehicle.
