They don't even use the right AK from Russia which is even outdated. What they use is the Chinese type 56 and Lebanese variants.. generally AK 47 na outdated weapon. Even Russia no longer use them as they have ceased production in the early 2000's.

Russians still uses AKs. There are newer Aks like the AK -74 but you guyz can't tell the difference. AK 47 is the older version and the AK is still one of the most reliable assault rifles. There is a case study during the gulf war when US soldiers were having issues with their M16 and AR rifles due to the desert sand and had to switch to the AKs.Why AKs are very reliable is because it needs less maintenance. Put it in Water, Sand or whatever it will still shoot and very rugged....this is why in war it sometimes beats the M rifle and AR. Aks are now modified and the Russian military uses the modified one....An AK47 is the older version
